The justice system is a joke and it's a gamble they play with people's lives. What is the point to live if you have to be put behind bars for life? That's no way to reasonably rehabilitate people that have crossed the line for whatever reason and it's like being brainwashed or under a spell. Their mental state is wired wrong and so it takes medication, programs, intensive therapy and psychology. But some where along the way the "system" does things the ways it does all because they are making money off of prisoners. It's just that simple. 🤫🤐💭

id say pelle was dead after he was ten when he had his "death" experience. that is when "dead" entered pelle so no dead was around longer than pelle

Dead was loved inspite of his way of communicating. He had moment's where he paused and let those moments be his truth. He needed care and useful distraction. He had a way of knowing alot more than he was prepared to share. He kept himself alive a lot longer than i expected. When it's a clear night and frozen in a moment of the breath felt when we witness Earth as a dynamic energy. Not the passive quiet cradle of lifes endless growth and intrigue. Thank you dead.

I've been watching this video so much over the past 6 months and I can't get enough of it, I love and I hate the story of him so much. it's so amazing that per's so famous for the short life he lived but he is an inspiration. Thsnk you for making this 💜

I am by far one of his biggest fans and I really have to thank you for this video. First of all, it's really meaningful how you portrait Pelle like a person. Of all the letters I've read he seems like a really nice guy that I could spend hours talking with, he was pretty smart and talented! I'm also so tired of seeing people spreading lies and being disrespectful about him. Laughing at his passing, sexualizing him with Euro and a lot of f*cked up shit. As you mentioned, Pelle was not just Dead, and people always forget about it. Everytime I see that cover I imagine how would it be for me if he was my brother, and the pain I feel is out of this world. I could never recover of something like that. Anders is really strong for it! As a fan, I'm here to honors his memory and respect his family. The others so called "fans" should do the same. May Pelle rest in peace.

I can just imagine Tav (or another companion) overhearing Astarion singing this quietly to himself as he mends his clothes damaged in their last fight. They know the poem, but then he adds a verse they never heard before. And they realise why. And their heart breaks for him just a little more.

Hey. I recently found this movie called Metal Lords (2022) and found it to be like a pre-quel to Lords of Chaos, at least in my mind. I thought it was very good, and wanted to recommend it. I hope you don't mind me commenting it here because I can't do it to the Lords of Chaos video. You revived my interest in Lords of Chaos, and from a technical stand point it is good, but the director makes fun of the characters and overly exaggerates them to a farce, which I can't watch. Metal Lords is a bit more serious, as if they are trying to revive metal for the new generation. Anyway, looking forward to your videos.

I know they weren't psychologist. A group of young guys trying to make it in the Black Metal industry. But sad to hear if possibly one of them had checked in with Pelle just once they might have been around to stop him from what he did. But of course at the time did they really Understand how his mental state was. Plus who knows the EXACT timeline of those events leading up to the final day/hour. :-/ R. I. P...

With the rise of true crime stuff, there's a lot of sickos out there. BTW, speaking of black metal and crime, I wonder if you heard of know of the band Triumphator and about the death of Melissa Nordell, a model, that was part of the scene, who took part in the photo shoot for the band's Wings of Antichrist album and then also died under some sort of similar circumstances by her, I guess, jealous, older boyfriend. I guess she was at the wrong place at the wrong time, or hanging out with the wrong crowd. But it was very disturbing to say the least, plus she was very pretty. The rerelease of the album doesn't have her pictures in it, I wonder because of her memory, or why? Similarly, but unrelated, I wonder why Sacramentum also had pictures of naked women in their album "The Coming of Chaos" and their stage names, but then on the rerelease the pictures are very high in contrast, and their names are omited. oh and I subscribed, waiting to see more about black metal, liked your takes on Dead and Lords of Chaos.

I relate a lot to Pelle alot, and with that I don't mean that I would kill animals or obsessed with the dead

Well, I guess the guinea pigs and him are even... Great video. It's funny, but respectful. I don't know if he could have been saved, but it's a shame there wasn't more done for him to at least try. Must have been a nightmare to be in his head and that environment didn't help at all. I feel so bad for his family.

One last note is that I have had the unfortunate reality of finding a loved one dead on more than one occasion and had someone taken a picture of that and displayed it everywhere I would probably be planning to kill that person. That is a despicable thing to do to anyone and it unfortunately is a tarnish on an already tarnished, conspiratorial, controversial and divisive genre that is black metal. I'm drawn in by the dedication to the left hand path against religion, not the crazy right wing facist ideals of the nsbm movement. Not a fan of tha Nazi side of metal, but I happen to know that most of us aren't like that at heart, even some that do pretend to espouse such ideals. Lots of posers in that respect! I was a member of my own cities "black circle" and I know that scene very well. A band that I happened to do a logo for also happened to be the first black metal band to ever appear in a major Hollywood production (excluding the independent "Gummo" by Harmony Korine, but also starred an actor from the movie "Kids") in the movie "Bully" Brad Renfro's second to last performance before he died. Thus my story adds to the story of metal in some very strage ways, I have played a part in legendary metal history. I was literally there when they recorded the track for that movie and was also there when they wrote it. I was singing along when it was going down so I might be in the actul track in a movie, that was actually a better true life crime drama then "Lords of Chaos". It was the band "Fog" and the song was "By This Axe We Rule" in case anyone is interested, you can find it on my channel.

I mean he's technically not wrong about technology separating us from nature considering that is exactly its function, but it does make life easier in so many more ways. That being said it has its faults like all the echo chambers that tend to pop up decrying said technology while simultaneously using it to prop up said echo chambers. Unfortunately you dont just get to pick and choose what aspects you like and what you don't, it's all or nothing.

I happen to think that Kilmer did a great job in portraying Dead in the movie Lords of Chaos, it was brief but probably the most memorable performance of the film honestly. It's not the most accurate of portrayals but it was close enough for a major Hollywood production of the subject I suppose. Him and Euronymous weren't exactly besties as we have come to know through the years.

I want to put put the idea that dead was the one that inspired Kurt Cobain, there are many similarities between the two artists and I think more than most people generally believe. I'm almost certain that Kurt would have heard the story of dead from his travels as a budding rockstar.

That Laibach is SICK SICK SICK would die for that, cool to see it in this collection as it should be industrial was always connected to Black metal and electronic music in general. About half I cant read or dont know.
