It’s my go to AR now. I have a CMMG .22LR conversion kit for cheap training days but ya, love it!
Thril makes the plastic accessories. You can flip the safety so it's @ 45°.

@@lb.sfirearms Turns out the Talon that is shipped on the FN is 90° only. I didn't think they would have a seperate line for FN. I reached out to Radian and they are sending me a 90/45° at no cost.

Ya just a Mil-Spec trigger so it had to go. I actually went with a PSA 3.5lb to test out, for was poor but it works great so far

Ha, it changes from time to time. We get a lot of wind so intake them down to avoid losing another pole. Then I change them up when I put them back up.

There is a new model out, I think it’s called the “guardian” which is n entry version.
There is also a tac3 “duty” that was released along side of the tac3 which is a tripped down version of the tac3, handgaurd is different on those.

I'm looking at picking up the Duty version of this rifle sometime within the next few weeks for $1,357, which I think is a good deal for what you get. And it has tons of QD attachment points.
Not sure that you mean by duty? Are you talking about the FN15 TAC3 Duty model? the “duty” version is a step down from the TAC3 just FYI.
@@lb.sfirearms Yes, I'm talking about the Duty model. And how is it a step down? It has more features than the standard TAC3.
Really? I must have missed that when I got mine. I thought the duty was a step down. I guess I was going by MSRP and it’s higher on the TAC3 vs the duty….
@@lb.sfirearms Yeah I wondered about that myself. MSRP, I believe is only about $100-$200 between the two, depending on where you buy it. It could be that the standard TAC3 has a better trigger? Maybe a better finish? The Duty does not come in any other colors but black, so maybe that's it. The Duty model has way more QD points, which is a big selling point for me.
I suppose if at $1,350-ish I have to switch out the trigger for something else, it won't be a huge deal, considering you get a great barrel and a mid-length gas system. But that is a good point about the price difference.
@Vladpryde the tac3 has a milspec trigger. The barrows are the same for both so I think the duty is dressed down but other than furniture, it’s the same gun I think.

Yes they are but a DD m4a1 goes $2200 but you see those everywhere.

It does not.
These look like they are $1350-$1450 online. Do you know where I can find it for $1000? Thank you.
Gun broker is your best bet, it’s not everyday you see them for that low but once in a while one will start at 1000 or a penny and that’s when they go that low. The one I found had all 3 colors, the black started at 900 and the other 2 started at 1000. I bid on the black one, just so happens this seller was local so when I went to pick up the black one, I saw the gray in person and said I had to have it. He charged my the extra 100 (1000) and called it good.

@@reginaldchesterfield8110 I’ve actually seen them go for lower, insert daily emails for my search and look everyday. I have one setup currently for the DMR3. A black and FDe one went about a month ago for under 1000 (for the DMR3 which has the G trigger and longer barrel) but no gray one so i passed on them.
Not sure why people hate on the FN ARs, they don’t sell well at all but for what you get and who makes them, they are fantastic! People will drop 1600-2000k on DD or BCMs but won’t drop 1000 on FNs top AR…. It’s a weird market but I’ll take it :)

My tac 3 wouldn't hold a group. Sold it.. iwi ar15 is lot better
That’s very odd, FN makes some pretty good barrels. My groups are fine
I thought it was IWI that had accuracy issues. Maybe it was their first ones.
