Wolfman definitely top 5 4K's of the year, if not #1. I loved it. There have been several standouts though. I remember someone in your comment section saying they wondered if your son would be able to get into Terrifier_3. Seemed like a no-brainer to me, "he's with his dad", what's the problem? Crazy that actually happened. great list btw
Needful Things was one of the best Stephen King books I read. With that the tv cut does include more character development that is in the book. I agree with you, read the book, watch the tv cut at least once and go from there.
I saw Satan's Little Helper a long time ago. I can't remember much about it other than I was eating and once scene made me sick. Lol. 😆 Parents who care (and you obviously do) know their kids and what they can handle. As a kid I saw Die Hard, Psycho, RoboCop and other stuff and my parents sat with me and talked to me about it all. With you being a filmmaker, your kids have grown up around the industry and will have a mature insight into it. Who wouldn't want a lenticular slip case with some T&A or something like that! Haha! I've seen the standard versions of Cursed, Needful Things and The Wolf Man and enjoyed them. I'll have to check out the alternate versions. I've had a crappy day and you've made me laugh and smile as always!
Hey Horror is made for kids too.....I took my 12 and 14 year old with my wife and I to see Terrifier 3 and I seen a few stares but hey we are are horror people. I will say I do usually refrain from my kids seeing exploitation type or horror with kids where they are in bad type situations, but honestly Terrifier 3 is so over the top it is honestly a bit comical. By the way I found Daniel recently and he is awesome for the classics..Enjoy you guys content...Thanks!
Love Daniel's stuff! and I agree, there are things I dont let them watch but I grew p in the 80s watching everything and they have grown up with me making horror movies so, if I say they can watch it, they can watch it lol
Great to see wolfman get some loved. I've always loved this movie. It's got foggy atmosphere in spades. Love it. Sadly You Might be the Killer and Satan's Little helper are total garbage. But don't count out Treasured Films, Dawn of the Mummy is out soon...
If you haven't watched it, check out The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia. It's really nothing like the first one, nothing. It has a good vibe and good actors. It actually is very accurate in relation to how a psychopath operates in real life... pretending to be a hero but he's not. It's even based on a true story and is set in 1993 in Georgia and shows the real people at the end of the movie. I'd give it an A. The plot twist is the best part, aside from the woodland countryside locale.
@@AVAPopCultureAnd there are multiple ghosts. The plot twist involves a pre Civil War ghost who has fooled people up to the modern era and Cicely Tyson has a short cameo and she plays a person who was fooled by him! It's so true to how real-life psychos operate. Very complex and well written! Sort of wholesome too. Chad Michael Murray is good in it.
@@AVAPopCultureI should also mention, it has NOTHING to do with the first one. The title is just referencing it's all a series, like Friday the 13th. But it's not connected to the Connecticut story at all.
Ranking my Top 10 most recent First Time watches that I recommend you check out! Pop that tape in, I got you, let's go do this!

I agree! when I do my best 4ks of the year, it is a contender for the top spot!
Fantastic video, dude!
Thanks man!! With everything I've watched recently, I was surprised that I could squeeze in 10 that I hadn't seen 😂
I got bloodbath at the house of death 👍 its old British comedy
Great list , a few I haven’t seen on this list too

Great list, will now have to check out the Wolfman bluray (sadly, can't see the 4K listed here in the UK) but will go for the extended version
The extended director's cut makes it a completely different movie!

The Wolfman director's cut change that whole movie for me
I just watched the original Salems Lot on Blu-ray, and then I saw the new one and just couldn't really get into it. To each their own bro.

I saw the preview for it after you mentioned it before but havent had a chance to watch it yet!!

@stickywicked447 The very ending has a memorable scene. Almost reminds me of a reenactment from the original Unsolved Mysteries show. 😀
Looking like John Cena lol
😝
