Sitting here crying and praising the Lord. How great is the father who forgives, a sinning son who returns will have a crown, but a faithful son will have many, still the father loved them both. Amen thank you Lord!
This story resonates with me a lot. There was a time I went my own path, wanted to do things my way, but much like the younger son, I fell into the slop and ate with the pigs. I was filthy and felt myself unworthy to even come to Jesus. But the moment I returned back to him, one fateful day, was I made anew again. Once I was Lost, now I am found.
We all are the pordigal son of God and we all have dwelled in the worldiness for too long and rejected God instead and this has led us into sin and ruined our life but here's the good news. There is still time for us to return back to God and turn away from our sins, and when we do, God will celebrate just like the father did when his prodigal son returned. Thank you Lord Jesus, our Lord for loving such an ungrateful and disobedient son of yours❤
The wonder is not that we decide to turn back, that is not the lesson of the story, but the gospel is that we cannot go back on our own, God must draw us to Him. Indeed, Christ's death and resurrection was so powerful that all who He died for, will be saved. Do not misunderstand, those who do not believe will not be saved, but are condemned already to eternal condemnation. Do not misunderstand, what I am saying is not hidden in the scriptures, nor will this message be so clear in them as to become the peril of those who do not understand it, but I speak with truth that God has chosen some from the foundation of the world, giving them a new heart so that they would, with certainty, believe.

Back in 2020 I made the mistake of practicing a pagan religion. For three years I sinned against God and rebuked him out of foolishness and ignorance. Then my ex (my gf at the time) encouraged me to go to a church service on Easter Sunday. The pastor told this story about the prodigal son. I felt the Holy Spirit embrace me. I've been a follower of Christ ever since. Praise be to the Lord, have mercy on me a sinner for I do not deserve your love yet receive it through Jesus Christ who gave his life for my sins and the sins of the world.
Angels are called Sons of God, just as Adam was. Just as we are now. So, by logical deduction, they are our older brothers. Amazing isn't it @@Dogestronaut2.0 ?
for whoever is making this video, I just want to say thank you so much. For the past weeks and even for the past months, I have been in such a spiritual rut and I’ve been feeling like I cannot go back to God because of how many sins I’ve done but through this and through the story of the prodigal son I just felt as if Jesus was the one telling me these things. I can never say thank you enough because I just gave my life to Jesus again and I know I may make many mistakes in the future, but nothing can stand in the way if God’s love for us thank you Lord. Thank you. Amen.
Tine to give me my wings back im coming home where all of my fsmily will wait allready ....all those days in the fire were enough ...i can almost feel the seperation ....
I despise that I feel the need to comment about this, despise that I feel I cannot confess this again to those close to me, despise being vulnerable here on social media where this surely isn't safe, but I am in such despair and shame that I fear I may have no hope of seeing heaven if I do not speak now. I have given in to lust for nearly a decade, even after knowing of Christ. The thoughts I have had are vile and putrid; the filth I have poured into my eyes eats me from inside like maggots. I cannot find the strength to escape lust, neither can I find the strength to read well, to pray well, to do anything to move my life forward. Today I confessed to God, and in confessing I sensed I received peace. But in my foolishness, I thought, what point is there for me to be given peace, if I turn around and sin again? I thought of the agony I had brought and I felt truly resentful of His steadfast love: I said, "any sane man would cut someone as me off to avoid being in agony at my wrongdoing. He would at least move on from being in pain because of me, but you, Lord, choose not to. Why? Dead (in sin) I came into the world, dead I will come out of it." Instantly I regretted saying it. I felt like I killed my spirit. It is for this that I write: I am deathly afraid I have committed unforgivable sin. I feel utterly directionless, detatched, and hard as rock. I feel like I never believed Christ, like Judas, and that I am hated by God. Does He not hate those who are swift on their feet to do evil? Does he not cut off the unfruitful vines? Thus I am deathly afraid of Him this moment, and I desire to be right with Him. I feel I should ask for prayers, despite not liking to be in such a position. It may be useless, if indeed I have forfeited salvation. Feels like attention-grabbing, which I hate to the moon and back, but... ugh. I don't know. I can't decide. If you want to pray for me, do, because I feel like I'm in grave danger, but if you don't, don't. I already despised burdening God with my sins; even more would I despise anyone feeling pressured into sharing mine with me. May God be with you, and I am sorry you read this.
How many times should you forgive a man?A: 7 times 77 (meaning infinitely). Therefore the God is also always willing to forgive you. Judas also could've turned to Jesus (if he wanted and believed it would work) even after what he'd done. And those wineland workers who came as the latest were also let in so don't worry about the unfruitful vines or swiftly feet.
You said that dead you came into the world dead will you come out of it. That is true for most man. Unless here on earth we start to live as in heaven(or at least try) we would all end up in sin and eventually die in it. We can "live as in heaven" only if we seek Jesus. I've heard somebody say: when you take one step towards God, God takes 10 towards you. So all you really need is to seek God and if you will be with him, he will be with you. And if HE will be with you no sin can be with you because sin in as darkness that dies the moment someone ignites the lightbulb.
Hello brother, I love your content and I just wanted to ask if you could make a song video using the song 28 Days later and Luke 10:18 “I watched as Satan fell from heaven like lightning.”
After you have gone your own way and committed sins, if you repent and return to God He will forgive you?...this seemed like the prodigal son. But let me tell you, it is certainly not like that. When you committed sins and when sins are full grown it gives rise to death.. so do not sin.
He will forgive you if you repent. Don’t tell me that you don’t sin anymore. We all mess up. Don’t get me wrong, we should not accept that, we should not just wait to sin again. But, we will mess up. That’s why we needed a sacrifice like Jesus. He pays for it all. He gives us grace to enable us to walk in the light. If you do sin, we have an advocate with the Father. But confess your sins and repent. He will forgive you. He loves you, he doesn’t wait for you to mess up just to condemn you. The only ones who can give condemnation are those who have been condemned. The devil condemns because he is condemned. Let’s praise God for his goodness and let’s repent and obey him. I just sinned and I feel awful but I have to forgive myself too. But I repented. God wants us to succeed, to overcome. He will help us, but It’s ultimately up to us to conquer these desires so that we can graduate into greater faith and obedience. He creates warriors, not people who just give up when it gets hard. The righteous man might fall 6 times but he gets up 7.
So this parable in the Bible is valuable. But that doesn't explain all the many parts of the Bible that are false, myths, legends, edits and deletions.
