It's the cheerful willingness to create Frankengenitals for me. Vaginas with penises, penises with vaginas, Barbie doll crotches. I can't tell how much of this was done on minors but how is this not experimentation on the mentally ill? I cannot imagine a future where any of these patients are stable or happy.

. The cancer one was concerning as well as puberty blockers for every child! It’s so messed up. I’ve known 3 detransitioners thus far. One was gay and two were autistic and into femboy fetishes because of anime porn most likely. Please keep making this content. You’re awesome and I will try to share your stuff more when I can. You are one of the best UA-camrs I’ve come across on this as you break everything down so well and you just have this chill vibe that makes listening to this kind of stuff less stressful, but still drives home so well what needs to be said!

I needed my bottom wisdom teeth removed. They were impacted and starting to decay. I knew this to be a fact just by looking at them not to mention the pain. When I went to the dentist, he didn’t take my word for it. He did x-rays and a thorough visual exam. When he concluded they needed to go, he went through a laundry list of potential complications that could arise from the surgery up to and including my death as I would require anesthesia. All of this for a couple bad teeth. The fact that a child can begin hormones and be recommended for surgery with high complication rates based on their word alone should be a huge red flag.

It seems we experienced similar situations but drew differing conclusions from them. I knew I was transgender at a young age. I experienced crippling depression from my gender dysphoria for years and my mental health deteriorated as a result. When I went to a psychiatrist to seek treatment he didnt believe me. It wasnt til after my depression proved itself resistant to traditional treatment and my mental health worsened that he concluded that I should be referred to a doctor for gender related care. This doctor didnt believe me either and told me to come back when I was 18. So I came back at 18, and they denied me again because I was still living with my family who was anti-trans and they didnt want to endanger me so they told me to come back when I was living on my own and away from them. So I moved out and on my own and at 21 I went back. And they said they would give me treatment only after acquiring 2 letters from 2 mental health practitioners to prove that I am aware and informed of everything I am deciding to undergo, and then, at 23, I was given only blockers for 1 year, then small dose of estrogen the next year to be increased every year by a set mg until my levels match that of a cis woman.
Well, our situations actually seem to be very different. I had to jump through a lot more hoops for many years to prove that I was indeed transgender and not going to regret my decision for them to actually give me treatment. I think the amount of vetting done to prevent people who may express some form of regret to their transition is extreme. I wish I had been able to undergo blockers at a younger age, but almost every doctor every step of the way is going to try to delay a persons access to gender related care. Nobody is handing this shit out like candy. I'm 30 years old now and soon to undergo gender confirmation surgeries. I have never once regretted my decision to transition. It saved my life honestly. Keep in mind that only 0.3%-0.6% of people who transition report some kind of detransition, and far fewer of those 0.3%-0.6% have gotten far enough into transition to have experienced permanent changes.

The Marci Bowers post at 41:50 seconds is INSANE. She goes on to compare transition surgery regrets to plastic surgery regret rates and asking why are people usually going after transition---like girl, don't be disingenuous, we know that cutting off breasts, performing hysterectomies, and removing testicles cause severe complications like osteoporosis, endocrine damage, leakage of fecal matter, never ending UTIs, chronic numbness/pain, partial or total loss of sexual function and necrosis. It's about the level of damage being done to a person who has no idea what they might be getting into.

Ffs, this is like the opioid epidemic all over again... just prescribing opiates to anyone for any reason. Just as harmful, just as horrible, and that lead to the fentanyl epidemic we have.
Also, i have a HUGE problem with people in the left just encouraging fetishes to be equal, normal and out in the open. Theres a GIANT disconnect between someone who enjoys their kink in appropriate spaces and someone who can't disconnect from it. Especially things like puppy play, its a big red flag if you BELIEVE you are a dog, and someone who KNOWS its actually role play!! Ffs people! One of those is clearly a mentally ill person and one who can live in reality and negotiate with CONSENT.
So too is the Sissy/AGP kink a sign of something more if they can't disconnect from it. But you know, people continue to confuse dysphoria and dysmorphia like they're remotely the same

Jack you are an inspiration to the ‘silent majority’ who are all getting increasingly concerned about this ideology.
I’m on a series of long haul flights on my way from NZ back to the UK and have been binge listening to all your podcasts.
Your voice is so important in all this - I love that you have compassion but also recognise the dangers and injustices of this movement.
I realise that I am part of the problem by staying silent so I’m starting to make small changes like not taking part in pronoun rituals, supporting Sall Grover (Google her if you don’t know about this) and gently trying to tell friends and family exactly what is going on. Often they don’t believe me when I tell them the kinds of things going on.
It’s absolutely chilling that the mainstream media haven’t reported on the WPATH files. The BBC should be on this!! Especially given what happened with a certain man they covered up for years…

I'd like to come in on the kink topic, as somebody who is in BDSM (not into pet play), and I'm also super upset over the normalization of kink in public spaces. It's about time the LGBTQ address this, because its getting out of hand. I'm going to begin by separating bestiality from pet play, because you're conflating two DIFFERENT things. I hope this helps you understand, even if it's not for you.
Pet play like Puppy/ Kitten and Pony play is ROLE PLAY that's centered around a PERSON being owned and disciplined as a pet (adult toys, masks, and gear is part of the cosplay for ROLE PLAY. ALL of the people I've talked to do not have an attraction to real animals. All of kink runs on ONE basic rule: CONSENT. Animals cannot consent to anything. If someone is attracted to animals it's bestiality. If someone believes they're an animal, it's mental illness.
The kink community was always pretty clear on all of this until the leftists and 'Queers' came along with their idea of _"no kink shaming"_ and thinking everything is "valid and accepted". It's not. It shouldn't be. YOU might not be aroused by Pet Play (neither am i), but two adults consenting in the appropriate private spaces, is nobody's business.
I have a big issue with media (music, movies, shows, p0ŕņ) and young, ignorant people with a platform bringing kink into the public spaces like pride. It started with 50shades, escalated in YT and Tumbler, and now TikTok spreading everything except the basis of reality. Tumbler spread the idea to teens that they can identify as animals and mythical creatures like with peonouns; that they can be real personalities.
Teens who had ZERO clue that consent is just the start, there's real protocol for more intense kink lifestyle. Again, BESTIALITY ISNT PET PLAY. Just like BDSM doesn't mean you want to participate in real slavery taking peoples human rights. CONSENT and Responsibility are the foundation.
Kink is not something to take lightly. A person's emotional, mental and physical state is in your hands, and should be treated with care in such vulnerability. Consent extends to the public, audio and visual. If the people around you have not consented to seeing or hearing your kink, that's not responsible kink.
We have spaces for our kink, dungeons and our own homes. Kids can't consent. Animals can't consent. Being under the influence is not a safe way to consent. The public spaces are not for kink.

It should be seen as an absolute last resort when no other psychological treatment works. WPATH is in such a rush to transition people and then ask questions later. Trans organisations have no interest in proving themselves wrong. I believe there is too much confirmation bias in the medical profession, and trans 'healthcare' is the greatest example of our time.

my understanding is that patients used to be required to go through a rigorous evaluation and psychotherapy before surgery/hormone replacement could be an option. and children should never be altered in any way until they reach the age of consent, and then start the evaluation process. i think this is a good solution. activists should not be involved in healthcare.
if we can find a way to get beyond this being a political war, we could get this things sorted out much better. it's a human issue not a left or right issue. the word woke especially will shut people down fast. it's an insult that turns people off. we need to bring the left along so they feel safe calling out the activists.

Now I realize it's very much a free for all.
I live in a "safe state". WOW! employers are in a world of hurt coming down the road. They made a point that they take this very seriously and will enforce the rules!
I could literally go in to work one day, say I am a man, not change one thing, and everyone would have to do as I say! what if i decided to be non-binary? i could change every day?? this give a TON of power to nutty people. of course we should be kind to all people but my god this is not going to end well.

HIS/ HIM. We need clarity and honesty on this topic. Using wrong-sex pronouns makes things unnecessarily confusing. Jazz is a boy. To the person listening in when you use "her" for Jazz, it's subtly undermining the reality of what Jazz is experiencing. The average person won't be able to parse these things out. The distortion of what is really occurring is the problem.

    • @JackxJewell
      @JackxJewell  3 місяці тому +3

I’m not sure how useful it would be for Jazz to realise the reality of what’s happened - there will be no going back and only regret and pain. I hope Jazz can still live a happy life, even if denial is a part of that.

    • @madelinecox4101
      @madelinecox4101 3 місяці тому +2

@JackxJewell Of course, there is no going back. And I'll agree to disagree with the idea that Jazz must necessarily lie to himself forever to be well-adjusted. I don't think it will be good for him long-term to deny what was done to him. He's going to be chasing this lie for the rest of his life. That sounds exhausting.
But when it comes to how the rest of us talk about him and the other child victims of this medical scandal that is brewing? It's important that we be accurate and truthful in how we're communicating. As much as I feel for Jazz, this is bigger than him. I feel like the focus should be on preventing other kids from going through what he is going through. Jazz, individually, might be devastated to fully realize what was done to him. But if the greater goal is to prevent what was done to him from happening to others in the future? We need to not muddy the waters. We need to be clear about what happened to Jazz and other kids like him. He was a normal, healthy boy. But because he wanted to wear a girl's sparkly bathing suit when he was a literal toddler? His parents pathologized him and put him on this path. And then they monetized him.
We're not doing anyone any favors, IMO, by pretending that Jazz is any type of girl. That includes Jazz/Jaron. In order to fully appreciate what has been done to him and to communicate to the rest of the world the gravity of it? We have to acknowledge that he isn't actually a girl and never can be. It's harder to do that if we keep calling him "she".

It interested me because she took a non pathological view to the phenomenon and while I can't remember most of it the gist was something like, when we break a bone in out bodies we visit a doctor who sets the bone for us and then our bodies do the rest, knitting the bone back together and growing the healing tissue etc. She applied this to multiple personality as it was called back then. As I said I can't remember the conclusion but I do remember it having a profound impact on my thoughts about the 'disorder', that having some contact with a therapist for a time is needed but that ultimately the older we get the personality will 'knit' itself back together as it moves through life.

So let me educate for those who actually want data not a narrative ok doctors are concerned with the best outcomes for their patients, as such the wpath people are concerned that the treatments may or may not have harmful effects because that’s whet medical science does it looks at if there are negative side effects of care whether psychotherapy or surgery abs looks of it can counteract them or get rid of them entirely. Now the problem is if you was them in a dishonest way and not understand that this guy doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about as he has no medical background or knowledge whatsoever therefore he shouldn’t be taken seriously on this topic. Btw I don’t donyou know what I do I shut up and let the medical community sort it

Learn grammar. Doesn't surprise me though cause most of y'all can't even wrap your heads around pronouns.

It would be easier to take you seriously if I could understand your comment. However, if I'm reading it right, it's something like shut up and let doctors/scientists/researchers deal with it. Everyone is open to criticism and being held accountable. It keeps people in check and stops them from doing immoral and harmful things for any reason. Which is why hiding research and records of highly vulnerable people (which could be kept anonymous) is concerning.

@@JackxJewell no I am just telling that you have got information wrong and giving you are legitimate reason as to why.
Any doctor wants better outcomes for their patients and there is no difference with gender affirming care. They want is no child or adult to go through with care they don’t need.
Know the problem is if you have a bias you can see what they said as horrific but if you look at it critically without any bias and see other medical doctors who do the same their fields.
That I would hope is what we all want the best healthcare for people who require it

Drug addiction. Another field where a lot of the clinicians are also recovering addicts. But more often than not, they are the therapists &rehab support staff, not the doctors.
The doctors are often just regular doctors that also see patients that are recovering addicts. Sometimes they will either be alcoholics or have people in their family that are addicts, but I think that is just due to the ubiquity of addiction.
