It's alright as a port of don't starve heck a couple of updates could probably turn this game into an actual competitor with regular don't starve as a whole but at the state of this game right now I don't expect much
I have play it on modded version, and the save game work perfectly. And the problem of the walls is solved on the modded version, you can place at least 2 walls then it will continuously placed automatically on the ground
It's not that the game isn't saving you know ... It's about the fact that it doesn't back up the saves via google play for example (to be synchronized across devices) ... or the fact that you can't backup the files manually As for the modded versions (as I said in the video): This is about the official versions provided by Klei 🙂
Alot of this still applies to console as well. I've never even experienced a mod unfortunately. And last time I played don't starve, I had to place only one wall at a time.
@Judgement Kazzy well dont starve together is separate from dont starve because Klei said it was too hard to make a multi-player in that game so they made a different game
What is a survival game that you would recommend for mobile? It seems like most of them just use a gameplay loop that encourages you to waste your time and/or spend money. Any that are actually fun and require some strategy and skill?
This one actually fun require some skill and a strategy this game also have alot of replayability with how the character have a different ability upside and downside making you must playing in a different playstyle you can also explore the huge map the skill is you need to adapt with the season you are on if you are on spring you need to always wear an umberella to keep you dry or you will freeze to death winter you need to craft winter clothes so you dont freeze to death also summer you need to wear an ice or floral shirt to keep yourself fresh there are also a seasonal boss for each season like winter are deerclops spring are moosegoose the combat in this game is honestly sucks all you do ia do 2 or 4 hit then walk back for a second then attacks you do that for a invincible frames.
I just for the life of me can't put anything on fire so I can't get charcoal or hammer anything down like a pig house on pocket edition. Is there something I am missing? I use a hammer and get next to a pig house or have the torche next to a tree and there is simply nothing I can do with it.
Equip the torch then long press on what u want to burn. Same for willows lighter. Or start a campfire and add a lot of fuel to set ur surroundings on fire
I can play game on my phone on 120 fps 1080 with controller but is different between this and nintendo switch because if not I play on nintendo switch because I hate play on mobile at least I get retro pocket 3plus
Old comment but on my phone (cheap I KNOW but still) Dragging and dropping items are painfully difficult, the UI is to small, and presice movement is impossible
No, it's only single player. Multiplayer in the consoles/PC version is also separate with the original vanilla Don't Starve. I highly doubt mobile will ever get Don't Starve Together (the multiplayer version).
And there's also no character reworks, the update in the mobile is also getting left behind so far, compared to the other version on the different platform(PC, Nintendo, X-box, etc)
It's 100% worth it. It's five bucks on the play store, that's it. And it runs really REALLY smoothly. And that was back in 2018 when I played it. I'm sure it's even smoother now
@@Tsekalare well it's $5 so not to say it would be that much of a waste, but you can find much better games on mobile around that price, like stardew valley which is around $8
The one thing that makes this unbearable for me is the fact that beefalo taming/management is harder in this version, as well as their are lots of glitches such as opening crockpots while riding on a beefalo. Another bug is the fact that you can't even use the pitchfork as it is intended. Though it's still a wonderful game, 8/10
As of February 1 they added cloud save feature.
Congratulations you got your wish

You can actually touch and hold items to either examine or pick them up.... When you examine you get to read the character interaction
For some reason i was NEVER able to start a proper world in dont starve. It seems fun but harder than any game ive played before
Same, I always leave my world because I just find stuff and dont start a base or anything by 10 days

The control locking bug is the biggest flaw imo.

Why Don't starve Android not update Like Don't starve PC?😢😢😢
one main issue is camera rotation makes the game crash sometimes
I can understand that the control's are pretty bad but with controller it's not that much of a problem and quite enjoyable
I want them to add multiplayer mode so I can play with my friends

Is it possible to find maxwell graveyard outside adventure mode?

have they fixed the wall issue?
Yes, but you must deal with the control
