Man that 2013 spanish GP was his last win😭, the 2018 Mclaren with the Renault engine unfortunately for Fernando was competitive only for the first few races😔. Before he retires I want him in a top car again, he deserves at least another win.
He doesnt. He's just too dislikeable and toxic. If he kept his mouth shut and stopped whining and crying off track all the time then a top team would hire him. Why do you think he was too scared to join Mercedes when they were dominating? Top teams have offered him the job and he was too scared of going up against strong drivers

That is so smart. On the outside, there is no dirty air on the loaded tires, on the inside the whole car has less downforce due to dirty air. And performance difference is a testimony to his intelligence.
This is a phenomenal comparison. The steering angle, the switchback, the pause on the throttle... it's basically identical! Hope Nando can have a good home race this year.
That 2013 move was because he watched the F2 race the day before and saw some of the drivers using their kers after T1&2 and made over takes, where as most of the other drivers used it on the straight before T1
Verstappen used the same move on Vettel in the first round of his first GP in the Redbull car. He had been watching old races and copied Alonso's move. It was very important for his win.
And in the pre-race press conference, Daniil Kvyat was asked how he heard about the driver swap, and answered he was watching a video and Helmut Marko called. The journalist asked what video he was watching, and he answered "Game of Thrones". There is the difference between a good driver and an absolute top driver. Max was watching race videos.
getting to the outside there is really smart, it stops the inside driver from using their line advantage to power out and get better exit speed, it's a good example of how overtaking isn't about flying up the inside all the time, but about how you can control your opponent's lines and speed
fernando is a real driver; he does not just ask the car to do things he grabs it by the neck and makes it do what he wants it to do. very interesting to observe in this POV
Of course you know the tricks of the trade when it's your home GP and it's been on the calendar with all but two corners functionally unchanged since your debut

That idea got shot down before it never got off the ground. I don't think I ever heard until they started putting them in Honda automobiles.
