Another great video. Looks like you had great weather on your crossing. I had gales of 6 and 9 meter waves. The ship sailed through them magnificently.

Fabulous! But the waves must have been terrifying! I've heard it can "weather any storm." We had excellent weather!

Thank you for your videos, which are interesting and informative to watch. We have booked for the transatlantic in 2026 followed by the next leg of the voyage, which is to Canada. A quick question about the delicious looking food - any vegetables on the plate seemed to be like a garnish rather than a portion. Do they offer sides of extra vegetables should you want them?

Hi Tricia! We did not make any special requests, but I would think the servers would happily bring you what you like! They are quite attentive. I eat a good deal of protein, so I specifically chose dishes that offered high protein content.

Hi - another great video. Question - about how long do you queue for tea and is everyone who wants tea accommodated?

Great questions! My younger sister Carrie always sat in the Queen's Room at least 30 minutes before the event to save the seats. The place was pretty packed, but it seemed that more people seemed to filter in after it began (20-30 minutes after) and by then some attendees left and they placed the later attendees at those tables!

An excellent series of videos! Will there be more days, please! I can't wait for my upcoming voyage.

Yes, definitely! It takes me a while to upload my pics, edit, and process them! But another one should appear in the next day or two! Thank you for the encouragement!

Hi there Crista, were you on the crossing that commenced on Jun 9?

We left on Sunday, June 6th, 2024 from Southampton and arrived in New York on the 15th. I should have given more details in the video as to which one it was!

@@cristatraversSunday was the 9th and yes, it arrived four hours late on the 15th. I was on the same crossing! I was reading the daily programme and recognised the lecturers, specifically Steve King and Captain Rigby. Also the comedian Foggie Flax . My stateroom was exactly the same design as yours, only the bed was a double as I was travelling solo. I enjoyed the experience although I’m in no hurry to do it again. Five days out of sight of land is enough for me!

@@egpx YES!!! It was the 9th! I'm getting the days mixed up. LOL! I can't believe we were on the same trip!!! How fun!

@@egpx One man's meat is another man's poison! We'd be looking forward to the seven days out of sight of land on the way back. Although so far our next two B2Bs are scheduled for seven nights each way. 😀

@@davidhouston3946 Indeed, some folk like that sort of isolation, albeit isolation with four thousand other folk and top quality dining! As for me, I wanted to do it and am glad I did so but it's not something I need to repeat. I was more than happy with Cunard and thought the ship was magnificent but if I ever fancy another dose of Cunard's rather unique style of cruising, it will be the Norwegian fjords or something scenic. Enjoy your double crossing 👍
