I’m glad that they did a more personal interview like this. Just them talking to each other and the audience, and someone holding the camera makes it seem a lot more personal.

I haven’t thought about playing destiny in the longest time because of how you have to buy allll this different stuff to get on track..when shadow keep comes out I feel like so many old players are going to come back. I’m excited
As someone who has never played Destiny and has looked to the franchise as a tragic disappointment of lost potential, I must say I am actually quite excited. The hard reset for lore seems to be a good way to introduce new players to the old horrors and hype up older players. Hopefully, some of the more loved villains (Looking at you, Oryx.) survive this invasion to be brought back as deeper recurring enemies later on. If that happens, we might be able to get do-overs of each of the bosses, giving them better stories to be remembered for. The focus on depth, RPG mechanics and PvP makes me excited about the end game, and New Light sealed the deal for me. If I've got nothing to lose, why not try it out?
E. V agreed, this seems to be something really good, tho i wouldn’t say a disappointment as a franchise because to me the only thing that didn’t really caught my interest was d2 as a whole but i agree nonetheless.
@@halphassoul7903 As far as I can tell, Destiny has had three things consistently god-tier in its lifespan: art style, music, and lore. If they can refine either the gameplay or the story (not even both), I'd be sold on this. Game is fixed? I can grind on it for days whilst reading up on all the people the Hive killed. Story is fixed? I get to explore this universe that's been hyped for years. Feeling quite optimistic.

It was mine when i first knew about destiny but i think it's changed to the dreadnaught and i know it's not a planet but still.

The moon was by far my favorite in D1. D1 was notorious for having dogshit location design. Every location was like a big loop with minimal open areas with stuff really going on. D2 changed that. Stuff like escalation protocol is amazing. Mars in D2 is the best map design imo.
Finally, what everyone wanted! Going back to the old formula and improving on it.
