I suggest any activity you like or one you want to try. Since you are very active person, doing sporty things is great. It is an old adage that love comes when you least expect it and I have to say I have had that experience. Live your best life, keep socially active and they will come. ;) love your videos!
Go to the places you love and are routine…hiking, getting coffee, grocery shopping, hanging at a park on a blanket, a library?!? The guys that go to bars to meet girls aren’t always drunks…they just don’t know where to go to meet girls😂🎉
I am not the greatest at making new friends so I think your suggestions are great 😂 I think maybe doing more of that sound bath in the park can attract your kind of people, or talking to more people on the bike path?
I used to do different things like painting classes, cooking classes and stuff like that. On the weekends if you get your crochet going, find the little markets to sell stuff !
I was a firefighter and worked in the hospital for 30 years, so a lot of stuff I did that was completely different helped a lot ! When you are in emergency work, that's who you meet and those folks can be a blast , but they are very hard to live with .
So find folks that you enjoy doing " other things " with ! That was you get a lot of difference in your life.
If there are tennis clubs or pickle ball clubs , pick one up !
Those folks are more into doing stuff like hiking and such.
But here is what I do suggest, take at least one day, maybe 2 just to rest. Getting out is great, doing stuff is great , but our bodies also need a day or two to relax and enjoy things .
You need to get all those many things you want to do, but don't keep yourself going 14 hours a day !

Hey Danna! There's Meetup where people get together to do various activities, I used it a bit when I lived in the city to meet people with similar tastes. When I moved back to my hometown, it was hard getting to know people, but then I started volunteering at an animal shelter and not only I do enjoy it big time but also met great people in there! Hope it helps :)
A couple ideas on how to purge your clothes……put things in a bag that you are not sure of and store it somewhere for 3-6 months. Don’t ever look in the bag and after 3-6 months if you have not missed it take it straight to the donation shop of your choice! The other thing you can do is have all of your hangers going the same way and after you wear it turn the hanger the opposite way. After so long you can see what you are not wearing and donate those items. Is so rewarding to have only what you are actually wearing!

social experiment ideas - (these are all on my list, they're silly but harmless! and mostly related to dating/attraction): wear your hair in pigtails and see if/what kind of attn you get from men (this became a trend on tiktok), smile for FIVE SECONDS at any man you think is somewhat cute, (it is LONG and hard to do, at least for me haha but a lot of dating 'experts' push this), wear red lips + red dress all day, pole dancing class, go on 1 app coffee date per week with a guy you wouldn't normally swipe right on
I switch which vlogs I look forward too each day. Currently, your vlogs are my fav. You are a strong person and will find a good guy soon.

I love the outdoors; joined biking/hiking clubs; volunteered at their races to manage water/refreshment stands or whatever; met the best people there who became friends: couples and singles, men, women . . .
I just have to say, thank you for the hearty laughs tonight. I cracked up at “I am an independent modern woman…not because I want to be, but because i have to be…chilvary has died a slow and painful death…this wool feels like pinecones…” etc. I totally replayed those parts and laughed out loud in my 41 year old apartment rental as well.
I like the idea of the social events seeing who you might find for a tribe vibe. I like goals and challenges, so I appreciate the idea of being inspired on the daily in that arena as well. I have definitely been motivated to do more walking, fun workouts and even tidy my Tetris tub world thanks to these vlogs.
Ah yes, post laughing you dropped the truth bomb re being single at 40 is better than being in an unhealthy relationship. This is so true and an important reminder for me.
Good luck nesting, not that you need it. It’s fun to watch your life and I appreciate the real self deprecation comedy talk. It’s very refreshing to see someone in a similar life stage as myself as I do not have children, value health and definitely have had unhealthy guy situationships for better and worse.

Everything is coming together in your apartment nicely! I like how you do the basket organization with your foldable clothes. As far as meeting people, I met really lovely people and made life long friends through Meet Up Groups. Just go to goups with activities you are interested in- hiking, rollerblading, keto, meditation and maybe there is a crystal bowl singing group! I joined groups in my area when I was new to the city- it was the best thing I could have done. Kept me out of bars (yuk!) and I met wonderful like minded souls. Good luck, girl!

You are doing such a great job and getting so much done. When you finish and get some dressers in there it will help so much! I wondering what meal you will cook that’s your favorite when you get all of this straightened! I sure hope the smell is better. I am very bothered by smells to so I understand!
I would get rid of the trailer, and save some money!! You could always rent a truck! It will be so nice just to have all of your things in one place which will also help you get rid of things you really just don’t have to have! I think you will feel so much better minus all the stuff you don’t use! Two hundred and fifty is a lot for something you won’t use for a long time! It will be cold season then anyway and it seemed that was not the best time for you to be living in the trailer again. I hope you can save some money so if you want to travel you can actually get a trailer you can drive with a restroom and shower. I don’t know anything about traveling so I might be 💯 wrong. But I feel like having your own space that you can call your own especially close to the cold season will be so much more responsible and make you more comfortable!
Please no offense meanings just some observations that I know nothing about. Just want the best for you! You deserve to feel relaxed about where you’re living and give yourself time to meet new friends!!

I’m lost on where to suggest hanging out. It’s becoming rodeo season so try a rodeo sometime. Can’t wait to see what you do with your apartment!!

I'm not looking but I skate on bike paths like you sometimes. The best places to meet people are in coffee shops, malls food courts, and skating rinks during the adult hour of skating. Going to the lake or beach by yourself men hit on women there too.

I think anything you enjoy/has benefit. I met my husband in lindy hop swing dance class. Ballroom dance classes satiated my need for motivation to move, my creative side, plus a good way to meet people.

Start a walking group! I created a poster for a neighborhood FB page (300+ people joined) walked it around the neighborhood. I then asked who wanted to start a walking group and got 21 women who joined. You can meet new circles of people!

I met one of my closest friends at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It’s kind of an expensive hobby but maybe you could find a primarily male dominated hobby because whenever there are women, they tend to group together and bond really quickly due to the fact that they’re surrounded by a bunch of men. Lol😂
