    Thank you for these comparison videos. Great playing throughout the series of vids man. It's a really tough decision. I have a roadworn tele and I have been debating nocaster vs twisted for a couple months. I can't say this helped me choose because both sound great in their own way. I've been leaning toward the twisted set but now after hearing this it sounds hard to say what I like more. I may just have to buy both sets and another tele. Yeah. That's the way to go.

      Carmen Rago yes; two teles is always better. or three ;) also how the guitar feels and reacts influences the tones, so its not just deciding for a set of pus...

    Great comparison, u should do one for bridge position. I think of blend Nocaster bridge with Twisted Tele neck - sounds like the perfect combination

    So I have both and prefer nocaster. Neck is warmer, less harsh. Bridge is way better - near magical on nocaster. But my personal taste.

    Just bought a Nocaster I don’t think I can’t go wrong either way but the nocasters warmer , smoother sound was the difference for me.

      @@UnterlassAudio you're welcome.. here's a question, I'm about to send off an email to buy a CS 2012 tele pro with twisted pickups... are these your favorites or do you prefer some other pickups actually?

    • @UnterlassAudio

      Robin Mood as a strat player, i would prefer twisted teles. right now, i own several strats, and only one tele: a masterbuilt paul waller which is great. it has nocasters, which almost sound like twisted teles... but if i had the choice, i would take the twisted. great for blues / rock.

      @@UnterlassAudio im trying to figure out what I want as I can't find a Nocaster bridge and TT neck set. You'd choose TT in both positions over the '51s Nocasters, if you had to choose?
      My thing is, I like the way the Nocasters sound in the bridge and don't mind them in the Neck...but I do like the slightly stratier tone, as well, in the neck. Since I'm mainly a strat player.

      @@UnterlassAudio thinking since I dig both the '51's positions and only really the TT in the neck, I mind as well spring for the '51s since I can't get the mixed set.

    I have both sets and was undecided about which one I would use in the neck, I'm thinking twisted tele in the neck and nocaster in bridge for my American and the reverse in my Mexican telecasters.

    Wow! You probably did the best pickup demos that I could hear on youtube, and i've seen a lot. Most people just don't do justice to the manufacturers. I sure love the tone you produce and i was really wondering what string gauge you were using, if it's possible to know. I am mostly tending towards the Nocasters. Actualy i just put Noiseless Gen4 on mine because silence was an important goal in the type of project i was working on, but the tone just isn't there. They're really quiet but a bit deceaving. Anyway, thanks for your demos that helped me a lot to make an idea.

    Truthfully no one cares. Your playing is great. Your amp is great. Your guitars are great. Your recording is great. This is where your great. I'd assume the only way this could sound bad is to give you a drop b dimebag washburn or replace your amp with a beginners rogue amp.

    nice ...but they are DIFFERENT GUITARS...in my experience that can make a difference

    • @UnterlassAudio
      @UnterlassAudio  4 роки тому +2

      right, different is the feeling then. if the guitar feels stiffer (e.g.quatersawn necks...- which for sure affects the playing). maybe 5%. but most of the sound comes from the pickups (and wood only reacts in terms of attack and sustain) - and fingers

      Charles M How do you like the Nocaster?

    • @charlesm7646
      @charlesm7646 4 роки тому +6

      Dustin Glass it’s great. With the TT in the bridge, it was a little to glassy and nasal for me. With the Nocaster, there’s a fuller, more balanced sound coming out of both the bridge and middle position. I use all three positions now whereas before I was mostly on the neck pickup. Highly recommend it 👍
