The second I saw that house I said to myself, that's got to be a Bentley's mini! It's like an Easter egg within another vlog. I love it when channels I watch all the time cross paths !
Carpetbagger, thank you. I needed this today, hearing your calming voice in a great museum. It's been a rough time in my life and definitely needed this video. Thank you again.
I've always wanted my own miniature town, ever since I was very little. Unfortunately, I do not have the space not the funding for that at the moment. But when I win the lottery.... Also, when I do win the lottery --its my irrefutable destiny, don't argue --you will receive the biggest Patreon contribution ever. Safe travels, my friend.
@@Pinkcatninja I'm absolutely useless at craft stuff, so no go there. I have mapped it out dozens and dozens of times, and the smallest version took up the entire dining room table. So yeah. And if I ever find the (expletive deleted) that keeps stealing my winning lottery tickets, there's going to be trouble.
You really need to stop in Tucson more often. The Sonoran Desert Museum is really great to visit, especially in the winter and early spring when the temps aren't too high to enjoy the outdoor parts. The Southern Arizona Transportation Museum, Biosphere 2, Franklin Car Museum, Old Tucson Studios, Pima Air Museum, San Xavier del Bac mission, and Titan Missile Museum are all things you need to see and do there!
Thankyou Thomas Ackerman I have been trying for awhile to get him to go Sonoran Desert Museum maybe he will come back in spring time that would be great!!
What you are doing brings a lot of joy, Jocob. Do you really want an ordinary life and job? You were designed for this nomadic lifestyle. You are awesome.
Hello, older shut in senior citizen here, who adores miniatures and making them since the 1960s. I am very grateful to you that you spent your hours recording at this museum. I can't go to these places now days and it totally made my day to watch all this "mini WORK" museum at my PC. I am so happy you are out there exploring/taping to bring such fun into an old shut-in's life! Keep up the great quality filming! Ye Old Doll Lover appreciates You :)
5:14 the Addams family house at 5:14 was made by a really talented UA-camer . Her Chanel is (bentley house minis ) she has a whole playlist of videos on crafting it it’s really interesting. She also is in the process of making other interesting minis like the Beetlejuice house and others . Really great channel wold recommend 🙂
Jacob, there IS a kewpie museum! It's in Walnut Shade, MO, north of Branson. It's called Bonniebrook Historical Society - Rose O'Neill's Fine Art Gallery, Museum, and Homestead
Watching your videos is like a visit with a groovy pal talking about his travels... only cooler. By the way, the little green sign figure is from a series of collectable tiny Dragons called Pocket Dragons. They were really popular about 20 or so years ago.
Yay Jacob! You were in Tucson! The Mini Time Machine is my favorite place. Having a membership means I can go whenever I want. It's a great place to escape for a few hours. There's so much to see that I choose sections on different visits or I choose a theme to see. When my daughter was younger we would choose something to count like cats to make it extra fun. I love how you went from miniatures to giants in one video. Safe travels dear one. 🏜️💞
What a great collection! And KEWPIES!!! Watching ... waiting ... I've never seen so many in one place! There is a Kewpie museum as part of the Bonniebrook Museum in Missouri (Rose O'Neill's home). They say it's not all about Kewpies, so you can escape those unblinking eyes! Might be a fun stop next time you're in the Ozarks. Thanks, Jacob!!
Thankyou for taking us there very cool so many miniatures and doll houses loved it ❤❤❤ love your crypto miniatures as well . Jackalope my fav too❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
If you ever find yourself visiting Europe, definitely check out the Hergé museum in Belgium! You seem like the kind of guy to appreciate a good Tintin comic or cartoon. If you haven’t read or watched any Tintin series, you definitely should!
I have lived here in Tucson for nearly 20 years and have yet to visit that dollhouse museum! After seeing this video I know I have to pay it a visit soon.
Nice miniature museum. When you go back to the dinosaurs in Cabazon, take the 10E to the 60 E to Riverside and visit Tios Taco and film their outdoor artwork sculptures. Then take 60E to I-10 to Cabazon. Its quite easy and good place to see.
Good Afternoon Jacob 🙋🏽. I hope you are having a wonderful day ‼️😃👍🏽. there's a lady on UA-cam WHO created the Adam's family home.(Bentley Miniatures) she is still working on beetle juice house. She is very talented.❤️
Wow buddy I finally got to watch something from Tucson where I'm at you were great as always Just wished you could have at least had lunch or dinner here maybe next time. I wanted you to try pinnacle Pete steak house where if you wear a tie the cutit offlol
Welcome to California! If you have spare time this weekend, the Great Train Show is having their model railroad show at the Orange County fairgrounds, also 'The Last Book Store' in downtown LA is an interesting place to visit
Burbank is an interesting city to visit. It's home to a lot of TV/Film production and there are loads of independent, niche businesses. Dark Delicacies, Hyaena, Blast From The Past, Mystic Museum, Halloween Town, The Crooked Path, The Perky Nerd, Be Kind Video... On Friday evenings there is an informal cruise-in for classic cars at Bob's Big Boy. It's one of the original restaurants in the chain, circa 1949.
Jacob, if I had known you were out here, especially at the Mini Museum, I suggest eating at Noble Hops it's not that far from there! My wife is the GM there!
Heeeeeeyyyy. Welcome to my town!!!!! Tucson!!! I love the mini time museum. The Sonoran Desert Museum is fun too, a massive part outdoor museum. The Internation Wildlife Museum is also fun..... tons of taxidermy. Better grab a Sonoran hot dog too while you're in town. El Guero Canelo is best for those. It's cool to see you exploring my town. Hope you enjoy your stay Carpetbagger. Love your vids!
Please go to The Wedge and also, take a Newport Beach Harbor boat tour. Maybe go on a half-day fishing boat trip from 6 a.m. till noon (if they still have that). I last did that in 1983 on The Western Pride, I think was the name of the boat. I was around 14 yrs of age. Across the harbor entrance from the wedge is Corona Del Mar. They filmed some of Gilligan's Island there. Balboa Island was interesting too... I haven't been there since '85, but there was a concrete-like boardwalk along the water's edge, that had an arcade and a cart that sells the square of vanilla ice cream on a stick that they dip in a magic shell type sauce and roll in whatever topping you choose. I would always get the chocolate with chocolate sprinkles. There's also Newport Pier, Balboa Pier, and Hunting Beach Pier (famous for surfing competition). Maybe you could visit while that is going on? I'd love to see you on a Boogie Board catching some waves! I love you, Man! TY so much for taking me with you! PS, You snore! 😄
Any Tucsonians remember the restaurant “Hidden Valley Ranch” the scenes with miniatures throughout the restaurant and in the main dining room the huge miniature circus scene?
I am trying to collect all things flatwoods monster.. I was super jel when you got the lantern...Etsy like you say is great for the cryptids...I love the plushy dolls....Oh did I mention I also love hodag...He is quite hard to get gifts on here...XX
Pocket Dragons were from Real Musgrave and his wife Muff. Their work is gorgeous and they used to illustrate the souvenier book for the Texas Renaissance Fair. They are super nice people.
I will keep an eye out for that mini Kraken if I build another Sea Monkey tank, it looks awesome. Always loved minitures having grown up with Model Villages and Old Penny arcades that had the automaton scenes, my mother and sister have dabbled in Victorian style dolls houses since my sister was small and I'm a model maker myself mostly dabbling in Cars and planes, definately worth doing if you have the space as you don't even have to spend much to do it.
Thanks for checking out my Addams house!😊Isn't the museum amazing? And they have the best staff there, everyone is so kind!
amzing build.
It’s an amazing place! And your work is wonderful!
Nice Job on the Adams Family house. Is it based on the Movies or the T.V. series? Maybe both?
The second I saw that house I said to myself, that's got to be a Bentley's mini! It's like an Easter egg within another vlog. I love it when channels I watch all the time cross paths !
How much time was invested in the creation of the Addams Family Mansion? Everything is Spectacular! Thank you from Tammy R.
Carpetbagger, thank you. I needed this today, hearing your calming voice in a great museum. It's been a rough time in my life and definitely needed this video. Thank you again.
Cheers and I hope everything gets better for you, much love and keep your chin up!
I’m sending wishes that tomorrow is better and that each hour after is a little better than the last. Sending a hug. ❤️🩹

You can always make a little shadow box for now! Often scraps and trash can be modified to make miniture stuff.

lol yes! i love this energy speak it into existence!
Start with room boxes. I'm a bit spoiled. My sons-in-love built me a "little house " for my dollhouses

I there quite abit of time in the 80s in Tucson Christmas time at my grandparents place.
Not to forget Colossal Cave, my favorite as a native Tucsonian.
@@videosbyvangie0553 If you're going that far out from Tucson, then Kartchner Caverns is another destination worth going to.
This is the best video of the museum I have seen. Loved everything but to see the Adams house though someone's else's eyes was great. Thank you
What you are doing brings a lot of joy, Jocob. Do you really want an ordinary life and job? You were designed for this nomadic lifestyle. You are awesome.
Amen to that. Jacob was born for this.
The miniature’s are so detailed. I could spend hours at this museum 😊
the talent behind all the miniature museum displays is incredible
Love the church, steeple, people reference 😊 My parents used to always say that to me when I was a young kid.

I absolutely love this place. This was my boyfriend and I's first date after I moved into the state. Lots of happy memories here.
When you turn it on it’s side, Cello, you got a Bass!!
Put it under your chin you got a violin
As a child I would see dioramas at the Fort Worth Museum of science back in the early 80s and I’ve been fascinated with them ever since.
Jacob, there IS a kewpie museum! It's in Walnut Shade, MO, north of Branson. It's called Bonniebrook Historical Society - Rose O'Neill's Fine Art Gallery, Museum, and Homestead
Ah! I've done character storytime at this museum! So fun to see you explore something so close to home!!
Loved watching the making of the Addams house! Would love to see it in person

LOVE the cute mice and the kewpie dolls....what a fun place!
I want to know how that T-rex was able to button his coat with those tiny little arms. Maybe the brontosaurs helps.
This is my third time trying to finish watching your video today. I had to quit twice. Let's hope the third time is the charm 🙂
21:47 I had these dolls they were using as mannequins for this store. They were called Glamour Gals from the 80s.

You should go to the miniature museum in Knotts Berry Farm in Orange County California. It's in the western part of the park.
I'm not sure Motts Miniatures is still at Knotts. That is the place that started my obsession.
