I would love to see a movie. Hell, they could pick it up after his cameo in COIE’s. A new crisis of some sort could appear and Clark would have to choose to take off the watch with the blue kryptonite and take up the “superman” mantle again… I would love it!

Thanks for the shout out, Ben! I think that whatever they end up doing depends the most on who is available and when, but also when WB/DC don't have a bunch of Superman projects all at once. Ideally, yeah, an actual ending/finale with Tom in the suit + President Lex would be amazing.
I've sometimes pondered how I personally would pitch a SMALLVILLE revival, and the big challenge is always based on which characters can be used and which actors would be available. I think what I'd do probably wouldn't be as exciting for most.
Regarding the Crisis thing.... I think what we really wanted as fans was Tom and Michael in a scene together. Michael & Cryer would be great, but, I'd feel cheated if he wasn't around Tom. With that said: I would love it if TalkVille had Jon Cryer on for a big Lex episode, knowing that he's a fan of Michael's Lex, hearing him talking about it would be great. Nicholas Hoult, too, if he even has time. (I also wish Brandon Routh had been able to pop in for one of the Christopher Reeve episodes - to have two Supermen talking about the greatest Superman, would have been incredible!)
Maybe it could be a direct sequel to Tom's Crisis on Inf- no, Michael said the animated series will talk about Tom's cameo in that. So, I think it'd be better to have it be an alternate universe to Earth-167(Smallville reality). That way, we could maybe have Grant Gustin and Stephen Amell reprise their iconic roles for that film. Maybe even have Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, so they can create a proper Justice League than what we got in the tv shows(Smallville, Arrow, and the Flash). I don't know if Alan Ritchson would be willing to reprise his role as A.C/Arthur Curry/Aquaman, or if they could get Jason Momoa to at least have a cameo scene, but it would be wonderful.
Meanwhile, still waiting for the Smallville animated sequel show episodes with season 11 somebody save me theme song

Lex Luther with Rosambaum as the President of the US like in the series finale, or another plotline, and Welling as Superman in his outfit would be interesting. Plus Lois returning. This would be awesome.
Superman and Lois is a standalone series on the CW that follows the superheroe and journalist couple as they navigate family life. The series has been described as a spiritual successor to Smallville, which ran from 2001 to 2011 and forused on Clark Kent's early adulthood as Superman.4 8:01

There is a huge fan base for this still and could be an else worlds universe. We deserve Tom in the suit! He would also still be an amazing / perfect kingdom come supes next to cornsweet

Rosenbaum should not be the guy in charge of these projects. He's not a fan of the characters and doesn't know what the fans would want. It would be some weird continuation nobody wants. He literally asked Tom if he would come back to play the character if they could find some time period before Clark becomes Superman. What is he talking about? He was clearly just trying to appease Tom's desire to not wear the suit, so it would be some awful prequel or sequel that makes no sense. The weird thing is that Tom has said more recently that he would be willing to wear the suit now.
Ever consider that it's either a flashback sequence depicting a scenario we never got to see in the show, or that its taking place shortly after Tom's Crisis on Infinite Earth's cameo appearance which is when his Clark had gotten rid of his powers to be a full-time dad? Of course not, because you need a reason to hate any continuation to Smallville. Entirely cause you clearly despised Smallville just for Tom never putting on the suit, and likely for the few alterations to Superman mythos. You obviously don't care that the original showrunner for Smallville didn't want Clark to put on the suit. Tom didn't want to because he wanted to honor the original showrunner's vision, for your information. If you need things to be exactly like DCAU S-man, then maybe you shouldn't have ever watched Smallville...
@@Soron661 don't make assumptions about people. Smallville is my favorite interpretation of the Superman character and my favorite DC show. Yes, Tom should've worn the suit in the finale but it didn't ruin it for me. But that Crisis cameo was horrendous and people who actually payed attention to Smallville don't consider it canon for going against Clark's journey in that show.
Michael is still considered the very best actor to play Lex Luther, and better than the later CW actor who played Lex.

Never going to happen I don't even think the animated series that's been discussed is a possibility, but if a movie, 11th season or animated series does happen keep wellings grubby no flights no tights depowered fingers out of the creative process unless his idea is to take off the blue kryptonite or undo in some way what was done in crisis!
He can keep the kids but he needs powers and him not having powers for 10 plus years is a perfect explanation why he's aged just make it clear in the story that his power are stuck with him for good so welling can't just depower whenever he want the character to!...
We went through 10 years of clark bitching about his abilities only to lose them and learn his lesson get them back and be right back to bitching again the very next episode and start the whole process over leading up the the finale where he finally became full on superman and get everyone hyped for his return in crisis only to be depowered yet again! Lexes reaction was spot on

Lex:"YOU WHAT?!"
