As a new sub I have been loving your channel. Thanks for sharing. God bless you all.
Great Job guys!😇!😇!😇!😇! BLESS you all!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Jacob is a good cameraman and interviewer!!
Kubota is a tough tractor and so versatile. I grew up with Long, Fords, and John Deere, but I can't survive now without a front loader with quick attachments. Awesome collection. I'm extremely jealous 😂 Stay safe, and God bless
This was a hoot! I had a good laugh with this video. Instead of cows and horses in the barn, there is a load of tractors. But ya'll will put them to good use. This was fun. I liked watching you change the oil and such. I am picking up some good learning. Thanks again!
Another great video! Loved the cat in it and jacob too. And yes you are so much like your papa😂
My husband loves his kubota tractor.
I’m showing hubby. He’s gonna be so jealous. He is wanting a Kabota with a loader.
When I grew up some of my uncle’s used John deers tractors 630 -530- and the old 210( they called them poppen tractors, all were tricycle front ends. My Granddaddy had Oliver Row Crops a 66 and a 77 they had the cultivars mounted in front of rear tire. We used the belt drive to pull wood table saw for firewood etc.another Uncle was A Case man. Lol
Love the new tractor 👍🏽
Nice old John Deer Model B, the John Deer 1010 is cool too. They are all very cool old tractors..
I really enjoy your all channel. Keep making those good videos and I'll keep watching.
thank you
Great stuff! 👍🏻 😊
Growing up on the tobacco farm in the 70s we had a 140 I loved that one a ford 8n and a allis chalmers wc with hand crank and hand brakes we even had a allis chalmers g we used to cultivate with. I miss those old tractors.
I am working on and hauling logs with a 1947 Ferguson I got 3 years ago. Its known as the little grey fergie and its a real worker for its size.
Yay Andy is left handed!!
Cool tractors and nice people…….the only thing missing is a pan of Cathead biscuits!
Hey Megan. Good to see ya all.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice to see you & family man you got a good bit of rain 1.5 is a good rain steve
Good evening. My husband is a big tractor man himself, and he enjoyed the video very much. I have a 47 model B John Deere a 2006 Kabota MX 5000 and just recently bought a 245DT Kabota and was wanting to know her to check the transmission and hydraulic fluid and rear fluid it is on the left side of the transmission button with the gearshift is about halfway down. It’s just a small plug about a half inch take it out and that level was supposed to be. Why you forgot to tell you is on the old John Deere that was passed down from the family and we have a picture of him on the tractor with his grandpa when he was probably about a year and a half to two years old. He restored that tractor and the smaller Kabota. He’s restoring now.he enjoyed your video very much. He dictated part of this and him being a man at all he forgot to put in all the nice cities. He just got the meat and potatoes. Thank you for another enjoyable video.
Thank you!
❤ That’s a lot of tractors!! Try to with strain yourself, Meagan! 😂😂😂
I got addicted to your channel, watched many of them over and over . Andy you’re not fooling anyone that Megan is buying those tractors . Megan I made ur pickled eggs umm umm my fave !!! 👋👋👍👍❤️
Thanks so much!!
🚜
At least you don’t have to raise the tractor up to get to the oil filter and get the plug off too
It’s nice to see Megan and Andy treat their children with kindness and respect answering their questions with patience.
thank you
..u know..ur right..I've just found them recently and have binged watched already from here until the newest and have not heard one "get down" or "ur in my way" or "go play"..😌..
These are beautiful.. so you certainly are one lucky guy..with a beautiful generous wife.. and wonderful children.. it certainly is a beauty.. have fun with it..
Tractors do hold their value.. actually, l doubled my price when l sold my old tractor a few years ago..
yep we've made money on several tractors over the years
Awesome tractors
thanks
Enjoy watching your channel. Old tractors are always great to see. 1400hrs on a 30+year old tractor is not very many hours. I do lawn care & put900 hrs a year on my zeroes
same here, I put about 500 hrs on each mower with my lawncare business
I’m a tractor lover too. That 140 looks nice.
thank you It looks nice but it definitely has a few issues that need to be fixed
Truly enjoy your post..have seen this post earlier today..just thought I would ask if you could do a crackling cornbread video??!!....it's what's on my mind and I know you know what it is!!!! Loving your content megan!!!
That's a fine collection of tractors, you haven't stopped smiling since you began showing them. Jacob is precious.
Yes. More tractor content.. And I did see a lawn tractor over there that you left out of the tour😂😂
Your little boy asked a lot of questions but that’s the way you learn by asking questions he seems like he is pretty smart too
he never stops he ask questions like that all day every day haha
What a great collection I am trying to get my first tractor thanks for the video have a blessed week.
As the old saying goes, never a dumb question especially at any age. Almost at 63, I'm still learning!😊
Jacob asks all the questions I want to ask. He is learning so much! ❤❤
Andy I’ll take your word for whatever you say about those tractors like I said I don’t know anything about them and I see them on other UA-cam channels and they use theirs just like you do
I still have a warm spot for that 1010 John Deere. That or a 420/430. For the same reason you like that Kubota the 3 point hitch. In fact I’ve never seen one like you have
Megan did good!
haha Thanks!
Really enjoyed this video. Andy really enjoys his tractors. If ya'll ever get up to central Virginia about 15 miles south of Richmond in Colonial Heights you would really enjoy the Keystone Truck and Tractor Museum. It's right on the side of I-95 and they have a good restaurant inside.
A lot of what ya'll do reminds me of what I grew up with at my grandparents' farm in the 50's.
Never heard of that, we'll definitely have to check that out sometime, thank you
Love to have you visit. Since you home school you would have a great opportunity to use the Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown restored areas to teach the kids. 😊
Love it! My grandfather had the Steam Engine Tractors ploughing their market gardens here in Nz!
Andy, for what it's worth, Baldwin probably makes filters to fit all your tractors and, they're pretty close to Kubota orange. Also, an automotive paint supplier should be able to match whatever paint you need with a sample or, from their computer. Enjoyed the video.
I've matched WIX filters up with some of them before, never thought about that with the paint, only thing would be the paint on the tractor is faded pretty bad so i dobt really have the correct color to match to
Love your John deere !
That's what I drove to school for 3 years. 😊
wow really?
I would have jumped on that Kabota too. Nice tractor. I converted a John Deere Hopper off of a 1010 to run on the 140.
Thanks, Im really liking is so far, cant wait to put it to work
helped your buddy out .. had to buy a knife and a dinner bell, thanks for his info
Awesome hopefully you like it!
I have older ford tractors my wife refuses to use them because each one has its own set of quirks. Would like to get her a new kubota about the size you have. Maybe one day😊
oh trust me i know all about quirks! haha its nice every once in awhile to have something that doesn't have quirks!
I told my wife I wouldn’t know how to act if I didn’t have to work on everything before I could use it
Love watching!
Great video, thanks for showing the tractors and telling the history and basic capabilities. Wouldn’t mind seeing another update later on.
That 2610 is a good one. The larger John Deere is also a good tractor. Heck all of them are good. There is a lot of 140 around home but because the 4x4 compacts the price varies. I would be very happy with your collection.
Andy loves his pliers. He always had them with him.
The first time I got to drive a Ford 8 N in the hay fields I was so stoked. I loved driving it. That was many years ago. Won't be long till both your children be fighting over who gets to drive what :) God Bless, Hugs, Rebekah,OHIO
Guess I need a tractor or 2 or 3 lol
I enjoyed the video. I noticed a 200 hour L245H like the one you just bought that just came up for sale for 10500 in Pilot Mountain the other day. I would love to have it but that is a crazy price.
I saw that one, Im pretty sure its been painted, but yes that price is insane!
I’m glad Megan bought you your dream tractor Andy. 😂
I did enjoy your video. I forgot to let yall know, we are in the panhandle of Florida, Chipley. Some idea of where we live,God bless
awesome! thank you
Have a Kubota L3130 for 19 years. Never a problem, ever! So, a couple month’s ago, bought a MX6000 with cab. Reason? The L3130 had no loader. i wanted a loader. You always NEED another tractor. And the L3130 struggled a bit with skidding bigger logs for the mill. The cab sure makes it nice when it’s really cold or hot, or raining. I can at least be doing something. I probably tap out my outer air filter every 10 hours and change them out every 40-50 hours. You’re right, gotta keep clean air. Fuel too! Be nice if you did a fuel storage video for folks, as my dealer says thats 80 percent of repairs they do are fuel related.
them L series kubotas like yours are awesome tractors, I almost bought a L3130 brand new several years ago and backed out, looking back I wish I had
love the vid thanks, I just about watched all the older videos ! my new fav. channel...thanks
thank you
I really enjoyed your interaction with your boy. I always kept mine by my side while working on equipment and doing home repairs. He's grown now and enjoys doing things for himself just as much as I do. Great video.
Great video everyone, enjoyed all the tractors and your honest opinions. Stay safe and keep up the teachings around there. Fred.
lol 😂 I wouldn’t know one tractor from the other besides the name on them and my granddaddy lived in Webster county in Mississippi
haha
I had no idea that Kubota made an offset cultivating tractor.
Loved this video❤ My dad was a mechanic. He worked for Sydenstriker John Deere for years before starting his own business. My oldest nephew learned how to be a mechanic working beside him. He now owns a business building engines for pulling tractors. We still have several JD tractors and our son has one IH he wants to restore. Memories came flooding back of watching dad tear one apart and put back together again❤
Right. Just like a kid in a candy store.
If you keep going you'll have to build another barn just to house all the tractors. Love you guys❤ God bless.
we plan too!
Congratulations on the tractors you all have , amazing , what an investment, stay the coarse, enjoy & have fun !
The Farmall 140 you can convert to a more conventional 3pt. And then some convert the 3pt to a skid steer quick attach bracket. Does the Kubota have draft control for plowing and Live-PTO? Those are two features on the 1955 Ferguson 35 I have (same that I grew up with that was bought new by the family) that make it a modern tractor. You can buy and repair an old tractor with the cash you might spend as the down payment on a new tractor and not have any more monthly loan payments to make.
I have a three point hitch for my 140 but i dont like it, it had a live pto but not draft, its just a regular position control
Megan now you have a his and her tractors.
I have a small Kubota 2380. Use it for everything on my small yard. Love how you can get the smaller tractors into tight places.
absolutely
I have been looking at kabotas. We are getting too old to be doing everything manually. After digging for 8 fruit trees the other day…. I’m convinced a tractor with a bucket/digger and any other attachments we need is the way to go. lol
honestly I dont see how someone can homestead without a tractor, They just make life so much easier and faster!
@TrueGritA😮ppalachianWays
That L245 is a gem! It’s all there. I’m an independent tractor mechanic now and I used to work for a Case IH dealership. Those little Knipex pliers are handy as a shirt pocket. Love y’all’s channel. Y’all are my kind of people.
Yes them knipex pliers are a life saver haha
Love that Kubota. I have a 1980 L3750 4wd with a loader. My dad bought it new in 1980 it has 2100 hours, the only breakdown I’ve had is a water pump. I’ve got 2 RTV’s and they are cold blooded but the 3750 is not, it’ll fire off even in the 20’s without preheating. I think what Meghan was alluding to is you need to find someone with a sawmill to make some lumber and build a tractor shed. 😂😂😂. Thanks for the tour, very nice collection. Have a great day.
haha thats why we've been sawing so much lumber lately, I've got to have another tractor shed haha, yep my rtv is pretty cold natured as well
Your family is so awesome ❤😊
Jacob has asked some great questions in this video.
everyday all day lol he never stops!
Most manufactures don’t make there own filters, If you use wix or Donaldson filter you can save
That is really a nice little cultivating tractor. I grew up on my grandparents farm and wish I had a dollar for every row I've plowed with a Cub. Thanks for sharing.
thanks
We love binge watching y'alls videos. Is there an episode about Megan's collections, or hobbies?
My animals 🙂

Meghan do ya’ll plant your corn in March it seems like that was when my granddaddy planted his
we usually wait till april around here
We got rain most of the yesterday we needed it
I bet money that orange oil filter is fram
"Megan done went and bought.... " LOL. Cant go wrong on tool investment.
Andy, I was told about this man that not to far from us,maybe a hour, that has many of the old tractors and has restored them all. I was told the other day that the city was going to get this man a building to put his tractors for a museum. I will found out more about this guy and his tractors and get some pictures. He has been doing these tractors for a while. I will see and let you know.
wow thats cool!
That John Deere tractor reminds me of the one my granddaddy had
I want to see a video about how you and Andy met
haha thats an interesting story!
its 60 years older also.............. ILL take the 140,,,,,,
which one is 60 years older? the 140 is a 74, last year they made them and that kubota is late 70s so only a few years difference in them two, most people would say they'd take the 140 but I swear the more Im using this kubota the more and more I really like it over the farmall
Yea that comment didn't make any sense to me either🤣 Neither one is 60 years old!!!🤣@@TrueGritAppalachianWays
My husband loves his Kabota. He does stuff with that tractor that I would have never dreamed it would do .
So do we
I know John deere B I was just forced to sell my 2😢 a few months ago
Just curious Andy. Did that tractor come from Pleasant View Ch. Rd. near Priddy's? I've seen one sitting under a barn shelter there for years. I think one reason Kubotas are so popular now is they have dealers everywhere. The nearest CaseIH dealer is in Union Grove. When you're busy working, the last thing you need to do is make a day trip to get a part. No one today builds a small row crop tractor so those offset Kubotas and Farmalls are still highly sought after. Let me know when the North View tractor show is! 😁
no it actually came from my great uncle clyde lawson, up off piney grove church rd
@@TrueGritAppalachianWays Ok. I know someone there on Pleasant View Ch. Rd. has one sitting under a barn shelter. Every time I go through there, it's there.
@@MarkWYoung-ky4uc hi mark. Do you ever stop in at Priddy's?
@@mint2bee689 Every so often.
My sister in law lived in Williamsport Tennessee and they hung tobacco in their barn or at least her husband’s family raised it and hung it in the barn to dry
Meagan I loved your response "we are tractor poor" lol lol lol
Nasty ain’t the word for like it is here rainy and wet
To me the no till isn’t as good as the till because I was taught that working a garden is the best way so you can keep the weeds down
I’m with you on no till doesn’t work for us tried it for a couple of years the weeds in the south are to aggressive
You can never have enough tractors every man needs at least
A half dozen every time I get my wife something nice she asks me what did you buy for yourself another tractor or a new gun the answer is always yup
hahahahaha
Suggestion, you could do like Pete on just a few acres channel, restore tractors during the winter and let UA-cam pay for it.
I need a place to do it though right now I don’t really have a good place to work.
@@TrueGritAppalachianWays Pete, is using his small garage building . Maybe you work on an old barn or building and convert it this summer and do the tractor restoration this winter .Pete asked for donations on his first tractor but now he doesn’t mention donating but he’s restored several tractors
❤️🐓🥚💛 MEGAN .. what type of fence do you use for your chickens please! I need a portable fence to keep my chickens away from my pool. Please let me know and friends leave me ideas below. Keep in mind I’m a single mother with no help doing it all .. thank you for your help.
Premier 1 electric netting
@@TrueGritAppalachianWays thank you for your reply . We lost a Brahma giant last year in our pool . He was hatched by the kids and a very smart beloved pet. He was out of a line of chickens that had been here where we live for 150 yrs. Very special.. thank you we’ve tried everything. The pool covers pop off and it’s hard letting them range in the summer.
Do you guys ever get to go on vacation?
haha yes at least two or three times a year, thankfully we have good neighbors close by that help take care of the animals while we're gone
@@TrueGritAppalachianWays that’s great. Yes…good neighbors
Hey buddy, I really love ya'lls channel but I just wanted to say that as far as filters go I always had really good luck with Wix filters or NAPA I get both from the same store. You can take it or leave it, I'm a 60 year old retired due to bad health farmer, trucker and I just hate to see money spent on overpriced filters.
Is your John Deere B what year is that ? When I was a young I drove daddy’s 1950 B
It’s either a 48 or 50
In the short time I have watched your vids, I haven't heard you mention if you have another job that you get income from or derive all your income from farming and cattle ranching. Just wondering. My compliments on your operation.
I am a registered nurse and Andy has a landscaping business, in all honesty without those we couldn’t make it
Hey Megan, what hobbies do you have?
My animals 🙂
ua-cam.com/video/ymE9Ym3pz9o/v-deo.html
Megan let the man build a shop!! He’s begging
Haha we aint got anywhere to put one
How many horse power are your tractors?
50hp is my biggest, the rest are 25-35hp
Your hydraulics holds 8.7 gallons
Johndeer does not make their filters
yes I know but it makes me feel better to have deere filters
