I’ve never heard the analogy of rollers just being discs thrown at 90 degrees compared to normal, but it makes complete sense! You have a great way of explaining the game of disc golf, keep it up!
Awesome you are going to start testing out the Atom this winter because you told me that you had never thrown an Atom... and then threw mine right after! Which is on my video of your clinic! Woo!
This might be the best In The Bag I have watched in disc golf and pretty much have seen them all. This does a very good job explaining the discs and why you use them not just that you do. Very well done Scott. I have a MVP vector for you if you want to try out a faster OS MVP midrange.. been in the bag since the first run ;) just holler ill pass one on to you!
Any chance you can do a video detailing your practice routine? I attended one of your clinics in PA and it did wonders for my forehand throws. Looking forward to the Winter Dubs
If you practice putt while holding 5 discs in your off hand, shouldn't you hold at least 2-3 when putting in a tournament to more accurately replicate what you do in practice?
Best in the bag video. I carry mostly trilogy but I too love the MVP discs I carry the wave, Photon, plasma volt, fission volt and the electron Atom is a great driving and putting putter. Have a great 2016 season, I am rooting for you.
I understand the mvp/axiom love for sure! What is happening with flyhigh? Backburner? I tried to order some putters off of the site last week and the site has a lot of problems. I was really looking forward to trying that sticky icky plastic out.
Pretty cool video I recently got into MvP after my brother let me use his Motion. Ever since then I have purchased all the MvP driver discs and see how I like them and I am hooked :D great video! The town I live in hosted a MvP tournament and I haven't got the chance to throw the Atom but I am really looking forward to it, it feels similar to the Avior (my current go-to putter) let me know what it feels like!
About “keeping your blood sugar up” that’s not something you should do. Eating sugar, wheat, starch, pasta, etc. keeps one hungry all the time. Keto way of eating is awesome, sugar should be avoided. If you eat keto, you’re not going to be getting hungry all the time, because your blood sugar isn’t ramping way up, insulin then overreacts (too much sugar is a real emergency for the body, though it doesn’t feel like it) and the blood sugar goes too low, then you’re “hangry”. Sugar and simple carbohydrate lead to inflammation, aches and pains, insulin resistance etc. A lot of endurance athletes are taking real advantage and becoming better fat adapted.
I m a little confused, you said Gateway is the way to go then you switch MVP mostly. I am just wondering why the change and some pointers on why you changed. All companies have "good " and not as "good" discs and I was just wondering the change.

great video, love the honesty. the more videos of yours I watch the more i respect you. thanks
Haha. I go jogging every morning, and then practice driving and putting in a field. It's fun!!
A veiled quantum physics reference with the joke about the wave turning into a particle when it's observed. Nice!
Very polarizing figure... love the transparency--tells it how it is. Like it a lot, personally.

nice video. I am stuck here in japan with a 159g weight limit on discs, so will definitely give the light MVP stuff a try....

Scott I can not believe you aren't throwing the Soft Envy. Amazing disc. Also if you are considering the buzz I suggest an Eclipse Axis.
resister is the best thumber disc out hands down. 168g
DAMNIT! I missed you at the Yetter!? I was in a wedding that weekend and missed it :(

you should try a resistor for thumbing if you want to try a mvp thumber disc
+dalton ggg or a shock!
Do you see a difference between Atom or MVP discs?

I found somewhere else that his return he needs discs that are grippy.
wnoa! you throw for mvp now? what happened to fly high?
mvp has the best putter it's a plasma Anode 174g Awesome Awesome putter
If it's fun, it's not really exercise.
