I did it! I'm from Brazil and I couldn't find BTMS 50 so I used BTMS 25. It is AMAZING. It feels great on the skin. I added the arrowroot powder and OMG. I'm so excited to sell it. Thank you so much Tara. I've been learning so much with you.
I love you, giving us free what most formulators hide
Girl you're always coming thru with these recipes!!! No lie, I've been wanting to make a body with water but I had no idea how. Thanks❤

OMG...I just tried the formulation for the body butters! I'm thinking about changing the way I formulate body butters now. I LOVE IT! The Mango fragrance I have smells so delish! 😀
Chesha Hale hi did you use the same exact formula she used? It looked great
Omg this is what I've been looking for. Hubby is always saying the body butters are too greasy so I've been thinking about how to mix water but just couldn't figure out how. Thanks so much .
Oh girl!!! I love body butter and having mango in it sounds amazing!!! That jar you put the butter in is so cute!
thank you so much!
glad you enjoyed :)
This is perfect for making my pain reliever recipe as I need it to have staying power. Switched out the cocoa butter for arnica butter and did a 60/40 split between grape seed oil & cannabis oil. Scented it with watermelon fragrance & just a touch of peony essential oil. Turned out beautifully and smells like a summer picnic. Thanks Taralee for this wonderful formulation!
Pure genius!!! I’m going to try this, thx Tara!
Omg!! I love your channel! This looks amazing!

Taralee you're the best
I love you 💕 you’re the greatest keep up the great work !!!!! The castile soap does it need a preservative???????? Thank you
This recipe looks amazing. what is a substitute for Leucidal SF Complete? Thanks for sharing.
HI Tara, i just discovered your channel and its absolutely amazing ! Thanks for sharing all those formulations and tips. I tried the formula tonight, but i didn't have stearic acid, so i replaced it with same amount of cetyl alcohol. Do you think it could change a lot the texture and feel ? thanks so much
Hi, Thank you so much for all your wonderful recipes that you share! I was wondering, if I use a preservative that has a lower usage rate, how do I recalculate the formulation?
Love your recipes! One question how can i add save nice colors for my mango butter?
Hey Tara I'm new to your channel and I love your content it's quite informative for newbies like myself
What I wanted to know is if I could tweak the formula to make a hair twiting cream
I'll try it too
hope you love it :)
thanks for watching!
Always quality video ❤️
thank you so much!
Ooohhh I love anything mango!!! Now I am way too lazy and cheap to make my own but that body butter looks so nice!! Great vid girl!! :)
I'm glad you enjoyed watching anyways :)
In the long run it's actually a lot cheaper!
I really want to try this one it looks awesome! love mango :) xxx
so glad you enjoyed :)
I feel like I would fail terribly if I tried to make this haha but I’m sure it smells so good! 😭😭
Hi enjoy your vids.
Do you have any suggestions for a light hair moisturizer for 4B/C hair? No coconut oil. Thank you so much.
Can you make a video on the different types of butters and oils?
Looks amazing, thank you for sharing... I jz bought mangk FO, would like to try it out! But i cant find distilled water here, i only got floral water with 0.5% preservative added from my supplier. Do i still need to heat n hold it wit yhe oil phase?
Thank you for this video. I was tired of the generic body butters and wanted something different for my upcoming skincare brand. I can’t wait to try this recipe. Also, can arrowroot powder be added with this?
Go for it, I made it and u won't require arrowroot powder, it is amazing as it is.
Arrowroot powder shouldn't be added where water or aloe vera is used
Love ❤️ this
Mango ouuuu that would smell amazinggggg and super greasy products I don't like either!! Very great video!
U are amazing !
Oh, I'd like a really nice toner for dry/mature skin, please, and one for oily and acne prone skin. One for me and one for my daughter, lol!
Great video
Hey I know that I'm super late haha but Is optiphen a good preservative for this type of recipe?
Hi! Thank you so much for this video, I have learnt so much! I do have a question though ... when you want to make for example 250g of body butter, do you end up actually having a finished product that weighs 250g? I don't know if I did something wrong, but I aimed to make 250g of Body Butter and ended up with 200? (By the way, I covered both beakers with tin foil like you said, so I don't think steam escaping is the issue, but I'm not sure, because I did actually forget to weigh the beakers before and after I put them on the stove). Do you or anyone else have any ideas? Thank you!! xx
Hi Tara
I'm new to your channel and I love it
Just tried this body butter recipe however it keeps cuddling up when I add the vitamin E oil fragrance oil and preservative, I've done it like 3 times now, at what temperature do you add them
Please please assist
Thanks
would lecithin works good as emulsifier for this and can I substitute glycerin?
Hi Tera, I'm a newbie and love your content. Thank you for this video and I'm excited to try and make it. Once question. what is the shelf life on this recipe and how do you determine how long a product will last?
Would love to be able to do this but. Alot to this one im just starting out making it for myself and my daughter and my son in law and hubbys beard balms so i dont think i wa t to get into all tht but i definity love how it went on so smooth and not greasy looking at all
Who else is watching in 2022? Thank you so very much for this video. Just made and used emul wax and cetyl alcohol instead of btms 50 and stearic acid. I need to tweak but it turned out awesome! I did it in watermelon sorbet scent and it was so yummy!
Perfect, this is exactly what I was searching for, the only difference is, I want to add aloe Vera instead of water, also does it matter if it's fresh aloe Vera or not, since it's easier to find for me. Plz let me know, and Thanks in advance.
loved this sweetie love me some body butter xx
Hi do you test the PH of the body butter or its not nessasary?
That process is not new. That’s how I make my body butters. I do enjoy all the valuable information you share.
Tara is the coco butter you used for sensitive skin. Looking for a Mon scented no chocolate smell coco butters. Making a non scent or do I just not add the mango fragrance? Thank you
Wow! Your channel inspires, educate and very interesting.
Pls can I make emulsify hair butter using this formula.
Thank you
This is nice I just made some the only thing I don’t like about it is the way it skids across your skin
Very good.I like because its a simple .Its no to much ingredients and also its easy to buy. That people need Thanks you sweetheart . Can you make please one base cream moisturizing for face .
Hi can we use a different preservative for this formula?
Hi, at what temperature did you add the preservative?
I add arrowroot powder to absorb most of the oil. Works great and leaves your skin feeling silky
I have tried that method before, but I wanted to try something new this time :)
the arrowroot powder method works great.
thanks so much for watching.
I can't recommend grapefruit seed extract to be used as a preservative in products that contain water.
If your product contains water you must use a broad spectrum preservative which is what leucidal sf complete is, and that is completely safe to use. it is a broad spectrum preservative. also everything is technically a chemical, so yes I used lots of chemicals.
I love this. Going to try making some things next week once I’ve been paid
so glad you loved this!
best luck making things :)
Hi Tara, I just came across your channel and I have been binge watching everything! It's really helping me out.
However, I would like to ask a question, since I'm planning on starting my Body Butter business. isn't the essence of a Body Butter is that it doesn't contain water at all? I was thinking maybe this recipe would be more like a Body cream?
This is a genuine question, I am seriously considering this recipe (especially because it cuts down the ingredient costs) but I feel like I will be misleading my clients? I know this was posted long ago but I hope you (or anyone) can answer. Thank you!
I'm so thankful for you! I came across your channel when I was trying to figure out how to waterproof my labels and immediately subscribed. I'm definitely going to make this body butter! Just wondering if the mango butter scent is really strong. I'm interested in making a watermelon body butter and heard that the mango butter is amazing but I don't want that to overpower the watermelon scent if i use it. Help!!!
No dear mango butter fragrance is not at all strong dear ☺️
Can boiling water be substituted for distilled water? Also, must you add stearic acid, does using just emulsifiers work?
All love all of your informative videos I just have one question tho!!! What does the vegetable glycerin do for the butter ? Is it completely necessary!?????
It is a humectant so it hydrates the skin. But it’s not necessary.
