I totally agree with you on that one
It's a shame these guys only released one album in their short-lived career, but fuck was it a kickass album and statement on the hard rock scene that hit like a sledgehammer. Thanks a ton for the music you gave us, Heaven's Basement \m/

These guys deserve much more popularity. Like for real, every single one of their songs is great.
My friend introduced me to this song several years ago, I hadn't ever heard it before and usually when people recommend music to me I usually don't much like it. This song was different, it hit me hard and fast and stuck with me for all this time.
He was a grumpy guy, little older than I was. hard to please sometimes, or more accurately hard to entertain. stubborn, and basically a real punk despite not looking, or otherwise acting the part. But he had a big heart despite not having that many friends. He was also a real tech guru kind of guy, always was my go to whenever anything went wrong.
That friend sadly passed away from a rare form of cancer that affected less than 300 recorded people. After having lost both of his parents to different types of cancer less than 2 years prior, the process was relatively quick, but painful. and I lost contact with him for the last few days of his life. But He knew how much I loved him like family right up to the end, and I have a recorded message from him that I can only imagine took alot of energy to make saying as much. He was only 33.
I'd swear this story sounds made up for sympathy, if I hadn't lived to see it happen to him. But This song will always symbolize our friendship to me.
Rest in Peace my Brother.
I grew up to this song, everyday I would come home from school, and play NHL 14, this and The Boys are Back by The Dropkick Murphys we’re the only songs I had turned on, still listening today

I once saw them in concert, some 9 years ago in germany, after the show they were selling that song on CD for 2€, not an EP, just that song with the torch on the cover. I've spent thousands of euros on concerts and festivals and it's been the best 20 years of my life. I still remember meeting the singer back then and the influence the song had on me over the years. Just this day I returned to the song and thought: you got it, I just had to tell you. \m/

@@alexstrie7768 the band broke up 3 years ago after a "hiatus" as Aaron (the vocalist) left the band. Aaron has his own band called "Aaron Buchanan and The Cult Classics", and Sid Glover (guitarist) has his own band called "The Cruel Knives". Both decent bands to be fair

@@alexstrie7768 They've split up, fella. Aaron (the Vocalist) made his own band "Aaron Buchanan & Cult Classics". Sid (the guitarist) and Rob (the bassist) joined a band called "Cruel Knives". Chris (the drummer) left the music industry. He makes perfect paintings now.

Heard Addicted by Saving Abel on inland radio and when the song arrived to the solo it kind of had the same melody as a song that I knew I heard before somewhere else and I randomly started piecing together the lyrics and arrived here. Im 16 and ive been listening to and going to every concert i can of Heaven's Basement's since i was 12. hell the guys even let me take photographs of them for my college photography project with a v.i.p pass so every single time i see this music video it fills me with pride and the thought that we can all achieve something if we stick to it and keep out nerve! These guys have that late 80's - early 90's feel to their video, music, singing, etc. all with a bit of nu metal 2000 spice which makes their sounds a tad modern but vintage in the same time. I'm so looking forward to their success and I hope they become big and revive the traditional music genres. I can see history repeating itself in the music world. YES! The time has finally come!
