Just recently got a PSVR2 and as it was hurting after a while (no wonder, as there isn't any cushion in the 'padding', just air and a flexible plastic frame). Because the majority of reviewers recommended the Globular Cluster CMP2, I went out and bought it. Although it's a bit of a hefty price-tag, the product is really quality and you do get a lot for it. Because of the shape of my head (larger forehead), I still have the problem that the headset keeps sliding down a bit, onto my nosebridge, because the top straps are a bit too short for my head. But the rest is a major improvement! The headset is finally comfortable to wear, my head doesn't hurt anymore. I've just done a play-session of 3 hours, with no pain.
I'm a great believer that most people's comfort issues with PSVR2 can be solved by subtly tweeking how you wear it, but I would be intrigued to try this. I usually can play for several hours with no discomfort, but sometimes if I don't have it quite on right it can cause pain. But yea that's usually my fault, I think. When I first got it, I tried to wear it similar to a PSVR1, with the headband quite horizontal.. but you're supposed to have the headband diagonal down with the back part being quite low on your skull which makes it way more comfy..
@@shenmeowzo I used to think that PSVR2 is a comfortable headset. However, the moment I tried Globular Cluster's comfort mode, I knew that I'm never going back lol Such a massive difference in terms of comfort, stability and heat/sweat management.
Hi Guys just wanted to share my experience. I saw a lot of people buy a lot of this dirt expensive comfort mods. Have you ever thought of just using a normal headband underneath you VR set? You can experiment with different types :-D and they are super cheap, I found one in a local sport shop and it does wonders :-D. Just FYI -> you dont need to spend millions for a simple fix. Main feature it is easy to put on an off of your head :-D, you can wash it in a washing machine after a few sessions. For long sweaty session you can have more headbands and change them every so often durng a play session :-D
Great timing for all the new PSVR2 gamers coming into the fold! These are a real 'game-changer' people! But get the Pulse Elites instead (wear 'under' the headset).
@@nomanisanisland That's quite an expansive alternative. 😅 You see, that would be ideal, to be able to use a headset with PSVR2. However, there are those like me who simply can't use a headset. I tried both the Pulse 3D and the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro, and I just couldn't do it!
Cheers for the video, just ordered the head piece and controller pads. The headset really presses on my forehead and makes me unable to play for more than an hour before it hurts too much and I need a break. Hoping this helps

I have a very small head and the back piece helps distribute the weight.
@@ep5957 I find my glasses make it tough, hope this helps with that.
Vr cover mod is also worth it, and you don't have to pry your psvr 2 stuff off to you it.
