Just found you!...love your videos. I'm 64f newly retired, looking to do this alone in upstate NY lakes. I'll keep watching, learning and hope you don't mind a Q? Here and there!
Hello! Cool to hear from the UK. I have been unable to locate this style boat tent again. Several have asked about it. I bought it on Amazon - but not currently available. I use a couple of apps. "Navionics" for navigation, "Weather" for local weather, and "Myradar" for all the live radar to track storms. I also use "Tides" for local tide info. Thanks for watching! More to come.
@@ChristopherQuest appreciate the reply and info , I’m new to boats learning lots with the help from UA-cam. You have much nicer adventure places and waters than us . But it’s a bit of a trek but we do have the Mediterranean few days drive away which I hope to go at some point which is my deciding factor on what boat I buy , do I tow a boat or buy one that can be packed in a trailer .. or both lol . Adventures ahead . Thanks again for the info 👍
Hello, Honestly they both have their uses. The Bris has a more substantial feel with larger 18" tubes, 20hp and alum floor. The FB365 has an air floor, 9.9 engine, 16" tubes - much lighter and easier to tow and move on land. I prefer the larger tube diameter of the Bris, but I sure am sold on the air deck of the saturn for a dingy. You just can't beat the cost/value of either of these boats.
Hello, Thanks for the nice comment, having fun. I have not checked the FB365 with the 9.9 Mercury and the tabs. My next video I will do a speed test and see, good question. I get 17 to 18 knots (~20mph) with the Tohatsu 20hp but it all really depends on how I have the boat loaded. I also changed to a stainless prop 9 pitch. Hey, thanks for watching!
Hello, I have used and abused the Bris for almost 4 years. I have removed the floor "once" just recently, always trailered. For the money- It is a great value, all air chambers heat welded and xtra thick PVC. There are better boats, but get out the cash! I have a lot of fun with this boat. I would buy another.
Hey i know Aleko doesnt make these biminis anymore but just as an fyi theres a company called kolibri (from ukraine!) That makes very similar tops. I bought one on ebay
Hello, this is great information as a lot of people have asked about the Aleko. I just looked at kolibrimarine.com and they have them as well. Great find and thanks for the comment and for watching!
@@augustcollins3341 hello. Just a fyi. I use a Aleko cover designed for aleko boats. I use it on a 12’ Saturn and a 14’ Bris. Not perfect but covers the boat. Need to compare dimensions needed. Thanks!
What a great idea to have an AC with you!! Looks like a lot of fun!!
Thanks for the nice comment and thanks for watching! (hopefully more excitment on the next video)
So cool Chris, that was fun. Jinnie spotted an armadillo in the background on the beach!
Hello Dave! I will have to look for that, that's crazy. A short fun little camp out. Thanks again for watching!
Hello Dave - I've looked for the Armadillo - can you tell me about the timelime location? If you get a chance. Thanks!
@@ChristopherQuest Okay, I'll check.
@@ChristopherQuest 9:38 first spot the armadillo and it's moving around at 9:48.

Perfection... :-)
Hi Jeff, a little crazy but a lot of fun. I think a tent on land is much easier. Thanks again for watching!
Looked like a great adventure!
Hello, It was a fun time, I like the idea of short overnight camping in the summer - enjoy the best times of the day. Thanks for watching!

Hey bro do you like that bris boat or your new Saturn 🪐 boat better ?

Great videos! What kind of speeds are you reaching with 20hp tohatsu on your 14.1 bris and how does it compare to your fb365?

I just looked, those tops from that company apparently only fit their specific boats
