Amazing video as always. Loved seeing the crewel work as someone who does non-counted embroidery. Just got my first cross stitch kit though, inspired by floss tube. 🎉🎉
It’s a different vibe, but really fun. I think hand embroidery is right for me when I’m feeling creative, and counted embroidery is right when I’m feeling stressed. Right now I’m almost exclusively cross stitch, so…. I guess that really speaks to what life with six kids is like!

I am glad that I am not the ONLY one that gets super stressed in summer. Trying to arrange summer stuff for the kids -- camps so I can get to work, working from home the weeks we don't have camps, trying to entertain everyone... and I am NOT meant to live in a warm climate so the heat annoys me....

Wonderful projects! Missed hearing Amy's laugh in the background but enjoyed all the work going on! Even if someone is a Halloween Grinch hahaha jk jk jk. Also, if you want some tips on vintage crochet, there is a wonderful lady on YT called Just Vintage Crochet where she shows you how to interpret these older patterns and she does fun mystery crochet patterns as well. Enjoy!

Hi Ladies! I love watching your floss tube!! One thing I did when stitching a big house roof with hand dyed thread was to stitch it diagonally. I learned this tip from watching Carrie of Evertote. It turned out great. Just something to consider.

The first time I saw your Greek gods project it made me head over to Cloudsfactory. I bought the Kings and Queens of England pattern and (for some reason) the Epic Storybook Princesses. That one is ginormous so I don’t know what I was thinking but it looks so fun!
Cloudsfactory has some cute stuff! I’ve got the cabinet of curiosities pattern waiting to be stitched up…

I love them so much, though. They’re actually a great pairing because Elizabeth wants to follow the (her) rules and Caroline wants to follow no rules of any kind, so they cancel each other out and nothing gets destroyed. 😂❤
