Game Description:
FFBE WoTV is a spiritual successor to the original Final Fantasy Tactics. It is a tactical RPG that follows Mont, the protagonist, as he tries to navigate the complicated life of a prince from a kingdom at war.
PVP: PVP in WoTV is both live and automated. Live PVP is run through friendly matches and community tournaments. Auto PVP is the bulk of the game and features an arena with rankings and rewards, as well as a Guild vs. Guild system that is a fun experience every day!
PVE: PVE can be played on either auto or manual and has many different types. The story mode is long and engaging. Raids drop about once a month for a real challenging boss fight. And other events spawn on a weekly basis offering new loot and challenges.
Community: The best thing about this game is the amazing community. Whether it is the reddit community or the many discords the community in WoTV is the best!

Tier lists at this point dont matter THAT much, a lot of characters strenght depend on who you pair them with, pairing up Vivi with Helena with the right VCs for example is the deadliest combo at this moment imo.
This is a good point. I love the tierlist that are PVP focused, but a lot of this game is about VCs, Espers, etc. You could have the same units on your team but not the same VC set ups and the difference is staggering.
@@cestrella0108 Yeah man also I think Vivi is the top tier unit in this game lol, simply because if you pair Helena with any other than Vivi, you can beat her, you pair her with Vivi and its almost impossible and I notice that with other teams, Vivi seems to be the X factor in most teams, as long as Vivi is there you have a good chance of losing he can turn the battle around in 2 turns, specially if he lurks in the back.

Rinoa should be higher. Haste/AOE up heal 100% hit and damage is good
I dont know if she should be in a higher tier necessarily but I do think Vinera is insane for how long she's been a decent and viable dark team member even among the current units. Every update shes gotten has brought her further along and even her newest LB upgrade makes it so her evade remains relevant while poison can do work on any tank, her 120 ability keeps her tanky enough to take hits and she's mobile enough to get in and bait teams out of buffing while mostly being able to survive until your team arrives to take advantage. I run her with two 100 cost units in Raph and Seph so that tips the scales a little but I do really like her in that team still even over stronger units like Leela the Bold who does similar things.
New Lucio is personally a 110 unit his durability rivals A2 and his kit has reraise and courage removal. His kit overall makes him compatible with different team comps. He can remove all buff types that are placed on enemy units (Haste removal included)
Even though he doesn't have a reraise or courage built in were at a point of the game where having that isnt useful because modern units come with removal effects.
You forgot to mention the reason why A2 is so up there is because of her sustainability. You literally don't need to bring healers with the A2 Faris SGlaci team,everyone somehow heal themselves and each other,plus the fact that A2 is an android means man eater does nothing
This is so true it hurts. Tough attackers that can self heal themselves and even party members I think is some of the strongest skills any unit can ever do. I don't see it get talked about. But man it's very, very solid thing for an attacker to be able to do.

@@hiddenlore5312 i mean youre right. I slept on her too. Because i wanted to really beef out 2B and 2P. I even managed to reincarnate 2P about 23 times which took a lot of saving. Nothing else for the other Nier units. Also blew my currency on the new Lucio unit so nothing left for collecting A2.
@hiddenlore5312 also may I ask? How does a player go about pulling off an 80 times reincarnation? It's such a massive amount of shards and resources. Like how do you acheive that
@@MonkeyHero i myself am a somewhat of a whale, i just bought her up. i cant speak for others tho. but im building A2 with upcoming ice oldoa tank that we know is coming from JP, its gonna be a storm for sure in my opinion. but i cant really blame people who invested a lot into vivi/yelena young teams. its still a good team and will be for a while probably.
You are 100% right in this video. They should have a system to lower the cost of older units as a new player It is very confusing.
Been ages since I last played, and this tier list makes it obvious. The units that were meta when I played have plummeted. Remember when LL the Bold, Joker, and Dark Fina was the meta? Remember when Ice teams just obliterated everyone? Man. This game used to be so much easier to plan out, considering you basically just built mono teams.
Rankings it hurts my heart to see so low:

Ultimately, you can still just play with the units you like. Getting caught up in meta is how you start spending money, and there's always someone who can spend more than you! Never forget that.
I’m still trying to keep ice alive and feel disrespected that Dragon Lord Zoma is ranked so low.

i use Val Ildyra, Yuffie and Kmount at top 20 guild battle and do 6 stars frequently. Im waiting for Psaro 140 to put him back.

I love final fantasy and I love gacha. The only thing I hate about gachas like wotv and ffbe is that they release new units like in a weekly basis, of course that is their way of making money. But it is just not my thing, coz most likely, the older units will be forgotten and they are forced to release units that are stronger to sell them which results to powercreep. Instead of balancing units is they will just release the same character on a diff unit/version. I play a gacha that I love that is not like that, and promotes balancing even for older units that is why I am still playing it after 10 years. Still I enjoy watching ur content and other wotv/ffbe concent creators and hope for the best for y'all
I really think you're under rating Perrine and summer glacey. Perrine is amazing in water and water strike. Glacey is the best tank in the game. Glacy carry water/ice, red mage and even with a2. I think shes better then raph, and raph is the one unit i max reincanated

New list hype... Also, ff13 rerun hype too. Shame Fang was made lightning in JP. Wind would have been better, since she was originally shown as wind and she still synergies well with wind units.
Or she could be Dark like she was in her parent game, since her Eidolon is Bahamut who is of the Dark element.
Biggest knock on 2p that I've seen is when using her phasal smash. Gets into range super quick and dies

I pair her with rinoa and Bradley. She’s evade but tanky with unit resistance buff, physical shield, and rinoa haste/AOE buff. Her jumping ahead is an advantage to keep up with hasted/CT upBradley courtesy of Rinoa. Synergy!

I agree with your 110 cost, thats four is real pain, hlucio is my main... Until i regret i cant reincarnate him bcos i lack shard hollowen, and it will be not effisien if i must give him all universal shard.
But i not agree u not put Vivi on 100 cost. Yes he can died by helena... But vivi support is real deal... He can give haste (always come to me), his LB super, and have guaranted hit right. So he must below Yhelena... Just bcos vivi is the best dark unit right now.
Meanwhile for new lucio... Well im afraid to him just bcos his VC... That VC can slash penet my loberon resist slash.
I definitely would move around many characters, but I think overall you did a good job on the list considering how many characters there are and how the meta shifts depending on where you are in the rankings. Here are the biggest standouts for me:
Summer Glacy up to 100. She got a huge boost in relevance with A2's release, and specifically the team of A2, S. Glacy, and Faris is very strong. Her kit has all of the important asks for a good tank, and her meta position is strong currently.
Piggy-backing off of Glacy, Faris is quite relevant right now. Her sustainability and the sheer options that ice and water have with team building right now makes her very strong. She just isn't the most popular pick (probably not a ton of people got her), and thus is rarely properly prepared for. I'd put her into 100.
Vivi deserves to be in 100 at least if not 110. His kit is stacked, and Helena wouldn't be as good as she is without him. It's true that she's probably better overall and boosts Vivi too, but her dominance is not hers alone.
Wedding Jayden is absolute dog water and I was so embarrassed to be an ice main when he dropped, especially since he came out so close to Wedding Alaya who is so obviously orders of magnitude better. I would drop Jayden all the way to 70 cost tier myself. He's just missing every important skill for a damage dealer to have in 2024, plus he lacks survivability. Damage is all that he brings, and that's not enough.
Most of my other disagreements are regarding moving many characters down at least 1 tier. However, as I said before I think this list is good overall, and does a solid job of representing the higher end PVP meta.
Move Rain and Medina to 70. Medina is LB and die. I have never seen Rain as good. He doesn't do great damage(because he's hybrid damage), and his tanking is sub-par. A few changes he could be great. Halloween Lucio...with evade and agi trust stones...1 vs. 3 Guild battles. He has only been reincarnated 1 time. I am only lacking mindshperes to push him all the way.
I definitely use Mediena all the time and can get her to one shot almost anyone, but she just can’t take a hit herself.
I doubt anyone will agree with this, but if you have pumpkin spice fredrika set up really well, she can pull off some surprising things. There have been times where I thought I was going to lose because my other two units were killed and the other team was still alive, and i stopped watching. I turned around to see she had defeated lightning astrius bridal alaya, and some other lightning character.
IMO Summer Glacie should be at cost 100. Serves A2-Howlet very well as she protects them from fire teams. Her mono water team with Faris-Young Oelde is the beefiest ever and can even beat lightning teams(strike).
2P hands down my new favorite. She's like a wildcard for the unprepared because she can dodge even without heavily investing your VC set into evasion. Gets killed in instant by magic tho.
Don't get me wrong, I love Summer Glacie... but her damage output hasn't been enough (at least for me) to get my SGlacie, A2, HHowlet team across the finish line if I run into any modern/meta Fire teams. I'm not saying this to discount your experiences... only to ask: how have you structured your team to make it work?
She certainly makes the team sing, and is great for making Fire teams look elsewhere in Guild wars (if you leave her as the visible character)... but I was thinking about switching to "Ice Tank" Oldoa when she comes out. If you have some way to handle Fire with SGlacie, though, I may consider holding off the switch.

I usually use Yuna as my main healer for light. Kinda weird she's lower in your list and regular Marcherie is much higher.
regular Macherie's upgrades are actually great, her main job revisions, her limit break upgrade, her damage and buffs. The fact she is in the mace group is pretty good to, if you use light a lot I would definately look into using Macherie for cost limited and PVE. Though neither her nor yuna are really any good at all in arena or manual pvp
Yuna just hasn't aged that well IMO. Macherie has access to one insane buff and and some 100% stuff that I value.
H. Lucio is at the top because of his dominance in viable cost-limited situations. Noone in the game has better bang for your buck than him.

I love this list. Raph Sephiroth and Dark Fina have put in work for me with no effort. I decided to build my ice team and A2 is definitely worth it. Her being an Android has a ton of benefits in pvp. Have to slow build ice Howlett to pair her with. But I have Raegan, Alaya, Gifford, and Eliza that’s up there. Kinda miss Lasswell being up there in the meta.

Since 2024 i leave my emulator bluestack5, not bcos i use other emulator... But just bcos now super easy just play on Phone. Well that multi player farm now is rarely for now, basicly can farm with just normal quest.

New Kitone seems more 90 cost to me imho just because my YH/Raph/Seph team defeats her every time in auto pvp even if we don’t defeat the other 2 units. Interesting list! Wish they would give LLB a boost love playing that unit
I highly suggest Rosa should be bumped up to the 70 cost tear. I regularly use her to get to top 50 Arena. Heck I'm there now if you search me (Dei). She's extremely underrated for chasing wind meta. I devour wind teams with her. Two uses of full life!? At almost instant cast?! She's so clutch with the support.
You can run evade axe+sword warrior through halloween lucio and his VC (agi15%+luck42) which makes him a center piece for evade teams in my opinion.
I agree! Not sure he maintains that spot forever but that's what I feel.
@@AuronnjJayy I doubt he will be there for any longer. Halloween Lucio struggles a lot with the new dario and his wind or black mage team because of either elemental disadvantage or sure hit skills.
Also saw your vid on tokens and espers I've been playing for 10 days so I haven't been able to lvl them till next month I was thinking about trying to do the water select quest and make a 2ndvteam for relequies
Lol, whenever these videos come out I quickly realize that all of the units I'm building are in the lowest tier :(
If Shaz and Sol are in 100, then Summer Glacie and Faris should be there as well. Summer glacie should be in 100 with her being an overall great tank. On top of that, her and faris share almost every good VC and they are hard to kill when together.
Summer Glaci feels like she needs to move up to me after reading through comments and talking to folks.
Summer Glacie may not seem like the monster 100 tank that she is if you have and run Bridal Alaya because B.Alaya checks her hard. Try fighting her without Alaya and Erudite Astrius. You'll probably lose even with a mean lightning comp. She just won't let anyone through. She walls whole teams on her own.
I think she might be the best tank in the game (still) right now, above Raph and new Dario.
My perspective comes from frequenting arena. You almost don't see water teams without her ever.
Sol is not worse than Shalze. If anything, Shalze should drop to 90, in my humble opinion.

Cost is based on everything overall, Raph is good but I personally don't have any problem taking her down in pvp.
@@ultimagamer3976 I meant the cost of your individual unit went up with each master and dream ability you choose in game... Raph/Vivi/Helena has been good for me but yeah she's not invincible but there really isn't another dark unit that's replacement level for her imho

The problem with an esper tier list is its basically like this "does your unit like what's on the board?" use that esper.
How about making a tier list for arena teams as units by themselves don't make the win! (usually)
Lucio's access to pierce keeps him 110. he 1 shots every damn team i can run. Pierce weakness is common among most usable units now that otherwise could hit him.
Halloween Lucio is the best. He is dapper and a good slapper.

Affinity and Resonance are automatically maxed out now for all units, even new ones that you pull. We don't have to grind for those stats ever again thankfully!

Will disagree on Queen. I have seen some functional use out of Queen in pvp in the past year as a compliment to Strike teams. She absolutely struggles with her lack of access to cast time reduction and so she is not good, but her tools and flexibility especially within a Strike team put her more useful than P2.

The amount of disrespect that continues to be heaped onto my man Hyoh (and fire in general) is baffling to me. If content creators don't have experience with those units then just say that. A unit doesn't need 5 different auras and buffs along with removal of every single meaningful enemy buff to be effective. All the bells and whistles are nice but ultimately just options, and the end of the day, Hyoh is first and foremost a DPS, and he fills his role at least AS effectively, if not outright better than a majority of the units that I see commonly ranked above him.
I didn't rank Hyoh low. I just think he represents what a UR should be so I stuck him in that tier. I like him just fine as a unit in the game but maybe he hurts from being in fire?

You paired Sol and Shalze but no one else? Why not Vivi Yelena? And the other ton of good pairings like Flagcie and W Veritas. Of course this is opinion based but it's not very consistent.
Actually a good point, could be worth bumping Vivi up but but I considered basically everyones comps when I did this. The reason they are "paired" is because I see them together a lot
