+4c here now and a lot of snow is melting leaving a lot of Ice! We have had e really tough winter with early snow and cold, hope for spring to come soon!
Just bougth spike chains for the ATV... Should have had them years before. Front end needed some spacers to provide some clearence between rims&steering parts but after that it works just great and the grip is much better
Did you get the ones with a diamond pattern? I have regular studded ones for the rear of my Honda but I think the diamond one would be great for the steering axle. Everything melted today except the ice so maybe I need to put the chains on the ATV as well.
that is actually good info - should help lots of people driving in snow
Thank you! They might work in sand too? You cold re-brand them as sand-chains and make a fortune!
Some good tips here, it is almost an art to put on chains. Also great know different kinds.
Thanks! Yes there are some varieties to choose from.
Great tips 👍
Thanks!
Pouring rain here, snow is melting, we haven't had much snow at all this year.

In Finland they are called salmiakki-pattern according the candy😂 But I guess it is the diamond yes.
@@JuhaErkkila had to check that, aha because of the design on the box!
@@NilsKall traditional shape of the candy is where that name comes from.
@@JuhaErkkila ok not just the box!
