I've watched this video multiple times this past year because this is such an excellent and concise explanation of the starting rules.. and now I just realized that this video is made by no other than Paul Fricker himself! 🤯

This is a well-organized video and provides a good amount of information for the time recorded. For those who aren't familiar with character creation for Call of Cthulhu, and don't have the Quick-Start rules at the time of viewing this, you don't add the base value of the skill when entering the skill points for the eight Occupational Skills for Quick-Start characters. This wasn't mentioned, or shown on-screen.
Just a great video series for learning a fun (and easy to get into) roleplaying game.
Still the best set of intro videos for Call of Cthulhu 7th hands down. All thriller, no filler!

I have come to the realisation, that you have a typo at 0:12. On screen is 80, 70, 60, 4x50, 40. However, and you even do that on the sheet, it should be 80, 70, 2x60, 3x50, 40.
Maybe you could overlay the first 50 with an annotation saying 60, so people are a little less confused. Otherwise do I love your series on the QS-Rules. I always send it to my new players as prep. for playing.

how is this useful? Suppose this isn't for someone like me who wanted an explainer and hadn't dealt with CoC tabletop before, alrighty.
I'm interested to know more about what would have been useful to you as someone new to the CoC game. So a primer explaining what the numbers mean, what the professions are, etc? Are you new to tabletop games or just new to CoC specifically?
Then download it and shut up with your neckbeard attitude. What an ingrate.
