So by design they were going to be hated, as they would be seen as obstacle, not as a vehicle. Also unranking stuff isn't fun. I predicted if you were QAT, it'd be boring, AND people would hate you. Before the QAT was introduced, I was slated to be moved over to QAT, and I refused very clearly!.. As you can see in the video, I got moved anyway... Charles please do a guest appearance on here, you're without a doubt one of the most influential mappers and it would be amazing to hear you make an appearance. I've already listened to your old talk about handwriting and how it relates to mapping but it's pretty old now and I'd like to hear your opinion on so many more things.
Your videos have kind of turned into a short weekly podcast, and I really like the direction you're taking it. You've gotten a lot better at giving people room to explain their thoughts, and asking questions that drive the discussion in a productive direction. I hope you put stuff like this on your resumé. It's impressive stuff and really something that will forever go underappreciated in the community, IMO.
When you said you wanted to be like the 3kliksphilip of osu beat-mapping i thought you were setting the bar very high but here i am every sunday listening in... You have certainly retained my viewing every week and gone beyond my expectations. I love your videos and i have literally never opened the map editor lmao :) In my opinion all players can take something from your videos, not just mappers! Please keep up the excellent work my dude!

1. download audacity 2. drag your mp3 file into audacity 3. on the side of the mp3 track, there should be a volume bar 4. turn the sound up (or down if it's very loud)
In these days we call the bat and qat "sotarks circle jerk team" Current System is a joke litteraly terrible for new or unknown mappers, having bns mod or nominate you map is impossible if you as a mapper are not friends with atleast 1 bn. If you ask bns they say stuff like, "Post in que" wich is close all the time. "i dont take requests" "I mod on my pace" "i mod for friends" I had 5 bns i asked all of them answered one of these things, one bn said i am full of request no time and i look his Profile he was modding 2 things for a sotarks map. Nice I coud name 50% of the guys who shoud be kicked from bn
Honestly just be more patient. Different people experience this step in the process differently for me it was almost a non-issue ranking a incredibly edgy mapset with literally 0 connections to any BN until that point. Cut BNs some slack these guys get called lazy or judgemental by people like you 24/7 while being asked for mods a hundred times a day. They might "rather" look at maps of established people just by virtue of being able to more quickly get their requests done since these people have shown to be reliable etc. Good luck with ranking your map my dude just be patient and avoid being pushy when asking for a mod

that last point you made doesn't make sense. modding sotarks maps doesnt mean they're not actually full/ignoring your map, in fact it pretty much emphasizes the fact that they're busy. you're not more deserving of a mod than sotarks, and unless you make good maps, you shouldn't entitle yourself of it
