Brandon Roy was one of the very few players that actually played basketball the right way. His fundamentals, leadership, and attitude is what makes him a winner in my book. God bless him!
At one time he was the second best 2 guard in the league and Kobe was the first. Kobe said great things about this kid. He was relentless I loved his game,he's coaching now and doing a great job...
call me crazy but I honestly think B.Roy would have easily had a HOF career had it not been for the injuries....mimicked his killer instincts after kobe and never afraid to shoot the ball in the final seconds.
Brandon Roy honestly was en route to be the baddest man on the entire earth. The last full season he played he was just an extraterrestrial. He did things that nobody could have ever expected him to do. Close your eyes. Imagine B Roy with a top ten supporting cast. Scary isn't it? B Roy made some of the most inventive plays when he had absolutely nothing to work with. And that was early career. Imagine his prime, like Giannis, I think he would have stepped into an MVP role.
'08-'09 was a good era to watch the NBA. When rose kd and westbrook were rookies. When Lebron was making the cavs team legendary Roy was unstoppable and kobe had the nba on lock.
How good would portland's starting 5 be RIGHT NOW if their draft pics weren't injury prone? B. Roy SG Age 29 (Experienced Vet in his Prime) Greg Oden C Age 26 (Experienced Vet in his Prime) Lamarcus PF Age 27 (Experienced Vet in his Prime) Batum SF Age 25 (Long, Young, Athletic) Lillard PG Age 23 (Quick, Strong, 4 years of college ball) Now thats a championship caliber team if those first two didn't have career ending injuries.
DimeDropper10 Well that pick came from a trade though, not involving anyone important. But yeah if they were a playoff caliber team, they probably wouldn't have landed as high as the 6th pick in the lottery, but then again maybe lillard doesn't go as high as 6, maybe he goes undrafted until portland scoops him up at 10-13, after all he was a senior at a relatively small school. I think Portland has very good scouts, and unfortunately injuries have not given them the credit they deserve.
Great mix jozoh thanks for that ! You got any mixes you been putting together that arnt suggestions from other people ? I think a cool idea would be like a 6th man mix featuring nick young, jamal , jr, taj Gibson an some older guys whenever you get time. Kid ink - the movement ? But good work jozoh imma fan for a lifetime
Alright dude no worries ha , can't wait , I know your extremely busy with all the request but tyreke Evans is another one of my more favorite players an if you could do a mix on him that would be great but honestly I'd rather you just do all your other stuff first before taking on anymore request Keep up the good work bro
probably my favorite player of all time so sad to see his career cut short ...imagine roy batum a healthy oden wes Matthews and Aldridge .. image what they could of done
When I got into basketball I wanted to first emulate dwade (because I’m a heat fan) but it was clear to me early on that I don’t have the freakish athleticism some are gifted. Then I saw Brandon Roy and I decided then and there that’s what I want to be a rlly solid player that can be elite with average athleticism and high b-ball iq
Roy was ultra athletic.....he was not explosive. He leaned toward the very technical side of the game. Cutting and going for layup while switching hands. If he needed to he can also dunk like no tomorrow.
As a Lakers fan, I truly believe that Brandon Roy had the potential to be better than Kobe if he wasn't so injury prone. This dude was a special player....imagine the Blazers right now if they still had him....
Is it me or did tmac cause Houston to lose this 1 at 1:40 to 2:10 he misses the shot for the lead then trips Artest aka metta when he's playin defense on Roy , he wasn't able to contest his shot good enough and Roy got off a good turn around fadeaway

mookeychase0907 is Dwayne Wade a joke to you👀
@@kendrizzle2838 before the injuries Roy had the potential to be better than Wade. A lot of players back then said he was already better than Wade.
@@kendrizzle2838 just realized I replied to a 4yo comment. My bad bruh😂
my fave player of all time , him and D rose man had so much potential, potential is a scary thing.
ahhhhh i remember this song from nba 2k11...................
When 2k wasn’t trash

The song fits roy so well. great video
They need to have Brandon Roy on nba2k16 myteam
dawg i cried watching this
One of my all-time favorite, along with Mcgrady and Amar'e. Sadly all were ridden by injuries
Thank you for trying to make Portland look cool
excellent song choices brandon Roy clutches after kobe
damn i miss him

If Roy and Oden never got career-ending injuries, they would have got the 6th pick to draft Lillard. Still a damn good team, nonetheless.

***** Ah did not know that. Thought there #11 pick they used on Meyers Leonard was the one acquired in a trade.
Just think if we were smart in the draft and took Durant.
Durant, Aldridge, Roy, Lillard and Lopez.
That is a starting 5.
jakedodsonjake roy could play small forward and Wesley Mathews could play sg cuz he's still a beast too
Brandon Roy inspires me because he played game with a hurt ankle and he risked his NBA career so the blazers could go to the playoffs
I can't forget this dude. He killed the rockets when I was a fan. ..fucking injuries
One of the BEAST!
One Of The Best 2 Guards
This man was so damn clutch
he was a real baller, loved his game, damn shame he had to retire so young
Underrated
Favorite Player of all time
Imagine if him nor Oden had the injuries yet they still got Lillard. Lillard Roy Batum Aldridge Oden. Man they could've ran the West for a decade.
What about this
pg daimian lillard
SG brandon roy
SF Kevin Durant
pf Lamarcus aldridge
c (fill in the blank)
+jeff juan Robin Lopez for center
+jeff juan Greg oden duh
Lmao they wouldn't have gotten such a high draft pick for lillard if they had roh
J Smooth they don't get Oden if they pick Durant
Love it Bro.
Portland...one of the most tragic teams of the 2000s...
Yun Li Tragic Bronson?
Ever****
I miss B Roy
At 3:07 the most best arc on a three pointer I have ever seen it was perfect
That's how Dirk shoots
Witch King of Angmar
He does but that's the best I have seen imo
awesome video!!!
Thx
+Jozoh u make mixes better than anyone bro...... The songs....... The clips..... The players........ Everything is on point
Roy, Oden, and LA. What a big 3 that could of been
Lillard
could have been the 3rd greatest sg of time. remind me of klay thompson and dwyane wade.
Very underrated
I remember watching Roy I watch the mags vs blazers game that was a great game
Great mix jozoh thanks for that ! You got any mixes you been putting together that arnt suggestions from other people ?

Jay Jay Gotchu
Nice shot
One of few guards that-don’t do much to score . With no injury he could of been an hall of famer
Just a BEAST! what a shame! He was great!
probably my favorite player of all time so sad to see his career cut short ...imagine roy batum a healthy oden wes Matthews and Aldridge .. image what they could of done
Here in 2019 :)
Was so damn raw what a shame he could have won titles
or at least become a hall of famer
enjoyed it

idol..BRoy7.
blazers are rocket killers.
As a Lakers fan, I truly believe that Brandon Roy had the potential to be better than Kobe if he wasn't so injury prone. This dude was a special player....imagine the Blazers right now if they still had him....
The only players I could say that could've been better than Kobe were Tmac and Grant Hill.
Brandon Roy showed the potential to become an all time legend in his first 2 season. Dude was cold blooded and nobody can deny that.
Miguel Cruz I AGREE WITH YOU TMAC AND GRANT HILL
idol...
Devin Booker is the new Brandon Roy
Te echo de menos.
He was so fire smh
Sucks that he got hurt cause he was one of my favorite players
Martin Ramos lol chill..
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Rip Branden roy Career only played 7 season's
Damn Yan! Awesome and sweet moves!
goat
💎💎💎💎
His game was so smoove. Reminds me a lot of Grant Hill. And no I don't mean because of the injuries to all the smart asses out there.
Lol
Nah grant was a better all around player. ghill was like lebron but 40 pounds lighter
His playing style reminds me of Bernard King as an explosive scorer.
It says it's unavailable on this platform
When we thought Jamal Crawford would replace Roy lmao
3:06 OPPPPPP
make a Austin Rivers mix
Honestly, I forgot about Brandon Roy
Brandon Roy a beast song is wack tho
this dude wouldve torn up the NBA if he would have stayed healthy
Portland missed out on a potential dynasty losing Roy and Oden to injuries.
Very very sad case of what could’ve been😔😔
Damian Lillard CJ Mccollumn Brandon Roy What IF?
And if they kept Aldridge and Oden had a decent career and never got injured omg what if
+tw1tchdp
Dame
Roy
C.J
Aldridge
Oden (never injured)
That's Crazy!
They wouldn't have been bad enough to get Lillard or Mccullom. Batum for sure.
+MJ lilliard was traded for gerald wallace he the nets pick
PLEASE re-upload!!!!!!!
Make if where you can view on mobile
Lol did he cross McGrady at that buzzer beater?

I miss this nigga 😂😂 Great career turned short due to injuries
Is it me or did tmac cause Houston to lose this 1 at 1:40 to 2:10 he misses the shot for the lead then trips Artest aka metta when he's playin defense on Roy , he wasn't able to contest his shot good enough and Roy got off a good turn around fadeaway
Rip
He didn't die he just got injured and could never play again
