fr, his show in paris might not have been my favorite list of songs compared to the albums, but the energy/feeling was unmatched with all the creative transitions and improv.

King krule the only artist that can make an acoustic version of his song sound indie/folk, that same song’s studio version have a hip hop sound, and that same song played live sound like jazzy punk

@@thauanalberto97 I'm American and I still don't understand it. Either this guy is joking or there is another layer to the lyrics. We have those scratcher lotto cards here, but I've never felt lucky scratching one. I feel like this may actually a reference to using a card to cut up lines, and then getting itchy (SCRATCHY, so hard) afterwards. (MEFF) - It makes you feel so lucky, at least for a while. Glad I only tried that once.
I don't know the true meaning though.
I know people often say king krule's voice is deep, low and scratchy and that's like his thing but the more you listen to him the more you discover how much control he has over it, he brightens it up but keeps it deep to amazing effect when needed, and his high yelps are just so perfect. He's such an interesting vocalist for sure, love the dude
One of the best KK songs, had it on repeat for months during the hard lockdowns of last year and still come back to it often. This live version is performed exactly the way I feel when I listen to the studio version!

Honestly it’s because man alive is an acquired taste. It takes a couple listens until you realize how good it is, at least for me.
Idk about everyone else but this album is an instant classic in my book. It draws something out of me that I can’t explain.

Rumour has it one time Oloff was sat next to Jar Jar Binks on a flight. Jar Jar kept kicking the chair in front of him and generally being obnoxious, nobody knew what to do. Eventually one of the flight attendants came over and asked Oloff if he would perform one of his songs to calm Jar Jar down, and when Oloff began rapping the first verse to Doing It Stealthy, Jar Jar immediately relaxed. To this day the two are still close friends.
