This is one of those songs that you just get lost in, since i've heard it a couple of days ago i'd have that guitar stuck in my head as well as lyrics "is anyone in there" and "tony said that he went" this song has just gripped me, it's what i'd call right now the perfect song.

I can't begin to presume what this song means to those who wrote it, but it's been near and dear to me for a while now. "They said your brain might never be the same, but at least you're still one-of-a-kind" gets me every time. Again, I'm sure it has a very different meaning from the one I relate it to in my own mind (it seems like a self-inflicted injury sort of thing based on the lyrics, if I had to guess), but I can't help but think of my friend who got severe brain damage from a car accident. He forgot who I was when he woke up. He was like an entirely different person, too, and our friendship is practically nonexistent for even further tragic reasons... But I'll always remember what he was like before, and I've done my best to love who he is from a distance since then. At least he's still one-of-a-kind.
