Two very interesting videos Colin! So good that the weather was cooperative for them. We would have liked to attend both events - you seem able to split yourself in two! Only the Spitfire from Gynn Square was needed for the 1940's event. Kris had a lovely time at Glossop 1940's weekend a little while ago. The coverage of the Hindu cultural event was excellent, lovely community spirit and so much beautiful textiles colour. When NW UK was the cotton weaving centre of the world we learned so much abour colour dyes from experts who first created these colourful styles of clothing. I am remembering the Hippies at 'Happenings' in Hyde Park London in the 60's in tie dyed clothing inspired by so much from the same area. It is really a small cultural world if we did but realise it!

Super Video Colin, glad you could make both venues, there didn't seem to be many visitors in the Park, it must have been rather disappointing. The Indian Hindu Festival looked inviting, colourful and lively, a shame it was Sunday.

Thanks for your reply. You've got a really good phone with the S23. Gary's phone is a iPhone 14 Max, the sound quality on that is good. Mine is a Samsung A13, so it's not that good on sound. The Aldi bag in the US willys jeep isn’t 1940,S LOL my grandfather was farming in Warrington in the 1940,s memories a wonderful day my other half’s nephews wife is a Hindu I love Indian food the Indian people are good people greetings from Scotland 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
