The gates is get away with a lot. I went to a diversion class for a speeding ticket. I had back in the 90s. I just didn’t want this ticket on my record. They had this diversion class anyway the guy that was putting it on was a state patrol in Oregon he was telling us how Bill Gates gets speeding tickets doing 100+ up and down I 84 in the gorge continuously and he gets away with it because he has all this money. He fights them Either way I still had the ticket on my record for some reason it never took it off and that’s the only reason I went to this class lasted all day. I’m still pissed over that. 😂

His story is very familiar sounding, and children of people who have a superiority complex, aka narcissism, and are also societally dysfunctional, are lucky if they are able to see that their parent is the one with a problem, and not become dysfunctional themselves.

Pretty sure he said he was like that when he was younger and has worked through a lot of it. That’s how he’s well adjusted. Coming through all of that and still being able to function and be self aware enough to go to therapy, I’d say he’s well adjusted enough. Better than most that have gone through trauma. Pretty sure that’s what OP meant.

      "Humor is the BEST Medicine."
      Reader's Digest?
As sad as it is to lose your mom, my mom's Alzheimer's did make for sone funny moments.
My brother lives out of state. On one of his visits, we're chatting over breakfast, and Mom, unsure of exactly who he is, says, "I LIKE YOU!" A few minutes later she leans in with a great big smile and says, "You know what? If you were a little older, and I was a little younger, I'd MARRY you!"
Brother: "Oh no you wouldn't, MOM."
      Mom: "Oh yes I would!"
I sat there and cracked up as he continued trying to finesse his way out of the marriage proposal. AWKWARD for him. HILARIOUS to witness!

So for years the WNBA has been complaining they don’t get enough news coverage.
Finally they get a player that is a star athlete and can bring attention to their sport like they did with women’s tennis.
But they treat her like crap?
Caitlin Clark broke the all-time signatures record for a WNBA player in only one night. Even her own teammates are jealous.
The WNBA makes ZERO $ BTW.
The NBA has to prop it up
