This is actually not an underrated song but on the contrary one of army's most favorite and treasured songs of BTS!! It's a shame that you didn't get a chance to see the So beautiful and so meaningful English translation to the lyrics for this song which make this song that much more special and so heartfelt! Believe it or not the vocals live are even better. Jimin sings many of the high notes in the background as well as in general but then so does Jin, JK and Tae!
This really shows off just how amazing all their vocal capabilities are as well as the rap lines vocals that I love so much as well. They always put so much emotion and passion into their songs! There actually is the most breathtakingly beautiful choreography for "Butterfly as well, choreographed by Brian Puspos. He is quite well known and has done choreo for Chris Broen, Drake, Justin Beiber, as well as BTS JIMIN who he is close friends with, he did the choreography for Jimin's song "Serendipity". BTS "Butterfly" is one of their 2015 songs.
Speaking of Jimin he just dropped his own song yesterday that he wrote with some help from RM and composed with some help from Slow Rabbit also assisting him as well as also producing it. If you see the English lyric vid for it I highly recommend the one from Minamochi whose lyric translation by far is more accurate than the one that came out first so has way more times seen so pulls up first but has some inaccurate lyrics that can make it a bit confusing or difficult to understand. It's sort of amusing how so many are trying to figure out the meaning when the translation isn't correct to begin with! 😂

Their songs are all based on a theory and their MVs, lyric and their expressions are all related....
For Save Me and I'm Fine are similarly, according to the theory, cause in save me, if you see the lyrics it is longing for someone's help and asking them to lend a hand and in I'm fine it says that I don't need anyone's help, I can do it on my own, I'm fine.....

Last time I was this late, blackpink had a comeback.
Well at first when I listened to their song I was like, 'yo this kpop boyband really good'. Then I listened another song, 'They are again? Okay, sounds cool, so different,' Til like 10th song i was mad, 'wah I won't fall into them, not kpop' then I downloaded all bts' albums. I listened all of them. 'Man, tell me what song that isn't good! Their songs so damn good.' Their music so greatttttt, catchy. I love them bc their music and talents. Then their personalities and their looks makes me fall deeper. I'm stuck in this fandom, and I'm glad.

Niki King actually it is true that Jhope was trained to be a vocalist before Bighit time. when Jhope was a trainee in JYP before Bang PD left JYP, Hoseok was trained as a dancer and vocalist.
Its not actually underrated its one of armys fav song they also have a beautiful choreo for the song..theres also a prologue version of butterfly by bts! Its only vocal line and less dramatic

"Butterfly"is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. It's the song that made me fall in love with BTS. It's been almost 3 years since I heard it for the first time and I still get emotional single every time I hear it. Great reaction.

This is one of my favorite songs EVER by BTS. They don’t make a bad song, all of their songs are beautiful but Butterfly is on another level.

I always thought the breathiness of the vocals in this song was to invoke the delicate nature of a butterfly; in the lyrics they talk about how they don’t want the butterfly (their love?) to leave them, so perhaps they make their voices soft so as not to scare them away

PS. Since you enjoyed this, I suggest you give the Prologue Mix version of this song a try. It's a little different from this one, but it's so beautiful. There's a live concert performance of that mix(jimin's got orange hair in that one). It always give me goosebumps.

This is the best period of BTS for me. I know you've done House of Cards already then you can try "Dead leaves", they were in the same era of HYYH.
The choreo to this is amazing because they express some of those express some of the effects of the music that normally get lost in the mix. Part of why I love watching the choreo after listening to their stuff is because it can almost make it sound completely different because they are putting visual emphasis on different sounds

You might want to do a "film review" set of reactions to hear how Butterfly sounds in that context. It's incredibly poignant. If you like Butterfly you should definitely listen to the Prologue mix of the song! It's a version that comes on the Young Forever album and it's a really beautiful mix seriously it's just so well made but sadly not a lot of people listen to that version. I don't know if it's good for a reaction because I don't know anything about producing but at least it's good for a listen if you want something relaxing! btw thank you for the reaction, your content is really good as always!

Butterfly will forever be one of my favorite BTS song. I can listen to it constantly for at least 2 weeks. That's how good and touching this song to me. Thank you for reacting to this song.
