@@geoffozevans4500 kudos to you mate and thanks a lot for pointing this out. That's a very important detail indeed about this color and it's my number one choice when I'll get the bike. Cheers!
Attention to details! That's the difference between a Shop Technician and a Master Mechanic, and you Sir are a Master! 90* Valve Stems should be standard equipment on ALL makes and models, IMO. But especially on Baggers/Dressers. Yammy finally got it right on the Eluder & SVTC (although my rear stem is turned more to 45* because someone lacked attention to detail). I'm surprised at how warm y'alls weather is for this time of year. I would have expected more of the white stuff by now. Have a Fun-tastic Friday! Peace and love.
Just took delivery of my R1250GS and I love the 90 degree valve stems! Such a minor thing, but it really matters. My RNineT has straight ones and it is a PITA to get a gauge or filler on the valve! I am only 5'5", but got the full size GS with a low seat -- adjusting to a large bike again, but in conjunction with what you were saying I like taking full advantage of the travel and smoothness of the 'non lowered' suspension. Thanks for confirming my choice to go that direction! Great VLOG, looking forward to more. Thanks!

I like the low chassis model. The 90 degree valve stems are good for everyone. I kinda like that color combo for some reason. If it had black bags it would be awesome.
Hi Shaun. Is there anyway you could send me the part number for that center stand plastic guard and do you know if it will fit the 1200 LC GSA? I have a 2017 and have massive burning heat from the catalytic converter on hot days, on my right leg and I am hoping that due to its shape it will prevent the burning by causing a vcuum under the bike and sucking the heat down. BMW are not interested in fixing the issue even though it is well known in hotter climates. Thank you

I’m not sure if you’ve ever covered this point in the past, but other than the height clearance, is there a suspension feature difference between the “low” and the standard? I’ve been told you lose a feature or some suspension options with the low with both the GSA & GS. Can you clear this up? Thanks in advance.

Lol There's a reason we don't have GSA demo units at times as well, they're simply preferred over the GS in our area. Before I spent that kind of money on a bike, I would be absolutely sure, take the 5 hour trip so you don't have major regrets later on... Thanks Max!

It’s the best Bike for me. Sorry, is this low version? I’d like to buy, i’m 173 cm. Is his handling good as a gs std normal version?? Sorry for my english Thank you Paolo
Just went to the BMW dealer and we had a long chat to a mechanic at Motorrad, the low suspension bikes used to mess with the rear shock linkage and also had to add short side stands and BMW stopped doing this as it was to much flaff and it made the bike handle differently to the normal suspension bike. now the low chassis is just that, they change the rear sub frame for a lower design and increase the compression so the bike in all terms handles the same, maybe I bit harder on the rear than the normal bike and you lose some travel in the swing arm should you be trying to launch yourself a 200 foot presysapit, honestly I don’t think 💭 I will be doing this. The esa will auto level with luggage 🧳 so I think I am all good to go with the low chassis bike 🏍 happy days 1st March and she will be here can’t wait

Here in the desert we are in riding season. Well for some of us. Upper 60's to near 70 for the high and low to mid 40s for the low. We are just backwards in riding seasons from alot of you. Mine has been down for a little over 2 months and yesterday I picked up the last parts. This afternoon if all goes well I will be riding. Even if just a short one. This weekend is going to be great. I won't be so jelous of the riding you're getting in. I do wish I had a new RT as a stablemate for the old Heritage though. Be safe and have fun!
Hi have just ordered a low chassis GSA 1250 because I am very short with only a 29inch inside leg and felt the standard height GSA would be to high, and no dealers in the UK have low chassis so I am now worried after watching your video that I have made the wrong decision
You can take the standard with the low seat, it's better that way because you can't lift over 790mm if you have the low suspension. With the low seat, you go to 820mm while with a Touratech x-low seat to 800.
P. Stavrou just found a dealer with a low chassis and tried it with a low seat it’s 840mm in the high position and 820mm in the low position with the bike site to auto on the suspension, you can lower it to 780 but this is rock bottom, also tried the normal chassis with low seat, could not even get the bike off its side stand, so the normal chassis is not going to work for me
@@djandyh50It's not necessary to flat foot with both of your legs but with one is enough. What is your height? Did you try also the GS? because the GSA should have a height when going off-road. The Low gives up 50mm of ground clearance compared with non lowered GSA and the GSA Low has slightly less ground clearance than the non-lowered GS.
P. Stavrou 😂 I sat on a low chassis with the low seat set to low on the bike and in auto on the suspension and I was on tippy toes both 🦶, on the normal chassis with the low seat I could not even get the bike off the stand , I am only 5 ft 5inch with a 29 inch inside leg, I would never be able to get the bike off the stand in any combination in a standard chassis 😂
The Kalamatta looked slightly better to me but can’t get beyond the traditional BMW color that the HP trim comes in. Most of the people I know have gone for the Hp. Probably it should be the Kalamatta for the novelty factor. Ok guess I made up my mind. 🤪
Hello, from London, UK. Love the videos. Love the new GSA. Still waiting for them to be released in the UK, seem to be delayed for various reasons. Mind you with all that is going wrong over here might be that you become my local BMW dealership :-)
How is the lower height achieved, is it just the suspension travel? Suppose I want to change the low chassis to regular, can I achieve that by just switching out the suspension?
you can't. Only by keeping the standard version and change the seat to a low one you go to 820mm or even more to 800. If you take the low suspension which goes together with the lower seat you go to 790 permanently.
@@motovloggingwithvman2188 If you change your suspension then you can revert to the standard bike! In travel, it changes a lot. The bike is less nimble and suspension stiffer but easier to handle.
