Yo mike, new cca here, I was just wondering do customer get mad when their mail gets all wet when it’s raining outside? Also keep the great videos coming, it has helped me feel a little more comfortable doing the job.
I appreciate you saying that, if you ever have a video request just let me know. In general, no, customers don't get mad when they're mail gets wet but you will occasionally have 1 customer that will and I tell them every single time that if I get wet, your mail is getting wet. That normally shuts them up but if not the normal "I'm sorry" always does.
Thanks for the tip, you should talk about cca getting thrown into other stations and what to expect. I got sent to another station with no knowledge of the town and got a full load along with no map and just an explanation on how to run the route. Dam near 4:00 pm and I was only down with half the route. Lucky they came to help me and l was able to come home at 5:00pm
I was wondering Mike I got email saying I start on January 29 2022 but didn't get any email on my orientation or training dates. So the date I got from them is January 29 is the day I start .
A PTF is a career employee but is not assigned a route, it's really uncommon in the Post Office nowadays to be a PTF. A CCA is a non career employee and that's really it.
