Thanks so much Finn!! If I told you, it felt so cold this afternoon, I actually thought I was in Denmark. Think it was 12 degrees!!! Warmer weather coming back I hope! Hope you had a lovely weekend!
Thanks Alex for the palma info I love this city especially the restaurants and bars I've made many friends in the city and we keep in touch over social media ill probably visit in April thanks for your amazing videos xx
What an educational and awsome video!!!....Alex thank you, because I am moving to the Old Town and your pointers are very helpful. Cheers and thanks again for your videos....
Love your channel, my girls should be old enough to finally visit the best place on the planet next year!!! More Can Pastilla please 😂😂 winter in Mallorca is my favourite time
You mention doing a video on schools, were you able to produce one? We are thinking of moving to Majorca with our toddler and would love to know more about the international schools in Spain, particularly Majorca. If you have any videos on which areas to opt for for families to live where it’s safe and can make friends with fellow pupils at their school, that wound be amazing! 😊
Hi Emmy - I don’t have any of content re schools or areas yet as tourism took over. I may do some during the winter months. If you are thinking of moving here then do email me on mallorcaunderthesun@gmail.com if you wish to book some time to have a call with me and discuss your situation and requirements for moving here. Cheers Alex
Love this video. Had you thought about recording a video about living 10 minutes from the centre of the city. Whilst living on Menorca, we have a second residence between the Blanquerna and Escoxador. The prices are around 60% of the Casc antic and as well as only being just 10 mins from the centre, is really cool and authentic.
Fantastic video and really informative 😊 So nice to see the beautiful Palma old town views. It does sound and look such a brilliant place to live. I don’t fancy carrying the shopping up all those stairs though 🤣
I was lucky (having a lift), but I'm pretty sure the novelty of of 5 floor stair climbs with Mercadona shopping bags plus water bottles soon wears off !
Loved this video! I was down near those gardens last night looking at the Christmas lights. When did you record this video as it feels like we have no sunshine in weeks? 😫😂
Hahaha, I had to be quick. The sun came out about 10 days ago I think it was... and I literally shot into town. The sun didn't last long! I think it'll make a return tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
@MallorcaUnderTheSun you mention in this video that you would make a similar one for the best places for families with children to live; did you make it yet?
Great! We're a family of 3 (me, my wife and 4 year old daughter) from the UK looking at potentially moving to Mallorca, but we're not sure whether we want to move to such a big tourist destination or not. The driving on the island concerns us also...
Thanks for the impressions and Informations. Can you recommend a website to rent Apartments. Not like airbnb, to rent for years. Do you have a good, stable internet connection there to work Remote? Do you have chances to get jobs there, if you speak english, but no spanish? Best regards, René
Try Idealista for accommodation long term. Internet here is fast but I live in Palma - it’s not the same in the countryside. If you work online you can work anywhere ! Don’t count on finding work here tho . You maybe lucky - depends what you do .
Majorca is the English spelling of Mallorca. A little like Londrés is the Spanish spelling for London, and also used widely here. My viewers can write Mallorca/Majorca how they like. 😉

@@MallorcaUnderTheSun Mallorca is still better 😄 here it is 2 degrees, rain mixed with snow and very, very dark 😄

Palma is fab! It's my favourite city and small enough too that you can do just that!

Brilliant, I’m glad the weather was kind to you. The scenes of palma looked amazing 🤩
🌞 I didn’t quite catch the names of the best beaches, what were they please?🌞
Illetas, Cala Xinxell, Cala Comtest, and Cala Mayor. Also Playa de Palma on the other side of Palma.
Very nice thankux
My pleasure Joanna :)

Did you ever make those other videos
Hi Laurette, the Summer got the better of me, but I'll definitely look at doing this winter.
Absolutely love Majorca. Would defo consider it to be a place I would like to live. Great video :)
Mallorca, not "Majorca"
Thanks so much Peter :)

Hello
Hola!
can you contact me I would like to discuss with you about moving and working in Majorca
Hi Roger I don't have the means to do this yet, but will be launching a website soon with info. Cheers
