- We go to The Mount Dora Annual Plant Fair of 2024. This year we encountered more vendors, and among those vendors were Vina Planters and Central Florida Orchids. This last vendor comes as a surprise to us, because as it turned out the young fellow's late father is a big name in the orchid world. Find out with us.

Thanks for sharing this event and Teddy’s family orchid history! Sorry toear about his father passing, but Im glad his mom is doing well. It’s been a while since i’ve seen Smiley orchids, so it is very nice to see her army of great orchids again! Im glad that Vickey and You bought the Chinese Lantern bush (or tree?), and It is indeed very gorgeous and beautiful! Beautiful event, beautiful family history. We want to bring back those names, big or small, in the orchid world. The Chinese lantern plant is not common and beautiful. Had to have it. Smiley is going thru some rough times, but she is a fighter. We guess it is in Asian people's DNA to work hard and overcome hard times. It was nice to see her again because she wasn't answering our texts. Don't miss the One on One video with Mr. Claude Hamilton (we know you don't miss any of our videos ❤️) being released Monday.
