Per Almqvist and his brother Niklas join Jian at the desk in Studio Q to talk about their latest record "Lex Hives" and to wax philosophical about fashion, stage presence and the state of rock & roll in the modern age.
The classiest punk band of all time.
nope. the nation of ulysses was that. but anyways: who can say that and what does it matter?
@@kaalmansur How would it not matter?!? Nice contestant with this Ulysses thing. I looked them up and yup: Classy.
Such a great interview. It shows how intelligent these guys are. Pelle is spot on, that bands are defined by their trousers! I love the "Yes. they. do" reply. As great as the White Stripes & Strokes were, the Hives have outlived them all.
I love what he said about Rock N Roll at 3:40
Finally a band that has something worthwhile to say
11:20 That's beautiful man. That's freedom
Im surprised they mentioned kraftwerk, thats so cool
the hives son lo mas son un golazoooo♥♥♥
bandazo boludoo
Tom Power is one of the best interviews out there...
Too bad this isn't tom lol
The guy from the right, just looks like skywalker from starwars.
GoLd
the hives are almost like oasis :) brothers fronted rock european rock bands
Oasis were better songwriters but The Hives are better musicians so I see them as equals.
@@bigdoinks69 Exactly!
@@bigdoinks69 Tbh that's a fair analysis
Except Pelle and Nicholaus actually seem to like each other lmao
@@bigdoinks69 Hives are better musicians and much-better live. In terms of songwriting, I think that's a taste thing.
The coolest brothers in rock. 🖤🤍
Bogus Operendi
Image=pants=everywhere - makes a lotta sense. Heh, even Lawrence Welk went through six pair of slacks every day(!) - onstage or off!
