Honestly a great choice. It takes a classic story, theme and time period and merged it with modern filmmaking techniques while also making great use of neo-noir filmmaking knowledge. Makes me happy to see this movie getting the recognition it deserves.

Wow best movie of all time? Thats so cool. I mean I don’t know about best, but its been in my top 5 of all time forever and generally when I tell people, a lot have never even seen it. Glad its getting recognition it deserves. Its fantastic.

I have no trouble with this pick. I have both LA Confidential and Casablanca on DVD and I can easily say that I watch LA Confidential more often. It is a fantastic movie.

Love this film, love Casablanca, and the Godfather I and II. I think ranking films is subjective; after all those ranking them are only humans. What one critic thinks is good, another will disagree.
