I’m currently renting a Ecosport Titanium on a business trip and when I first got the car, I was thinking it will be too small and was not happy at first, but actually as I drive it more, I’m liking it a lot too. It’s actually the same size as my 2013 lifted 2 Door Jeep Wrangler, its just shaped differently haha. But surprisingly, it gets slight worse MPGs than my 2020 4 Door lifted Jeep Wrangler, but overall as a rental car, its been fun to drive, and has a lot of features given the size and price point.
There is a tab on the back seats that lets you lift up the seat then put the back down flat and that makes the cargo area flat. Almost none of the videos mention this but it is a great system. I recently purchased a 2019 SES model after trading in my Escape. I really like this car, perfect for my needs. Tons of options that I was looking for.
What all the reviews are missing is the back seats flip up toward front seats, then the back back rest (seats) flip down making everything flat for extra storage
@@VehicleVisionary Ah! So likely a "forgettable" experience? I suggest you maintain your courtesy and professionalism; perceived snarky comments are for the commenters not the content creators. I was just opining Doodad reviews without any comment on the engine, transmission, steering and ultimate roadability of a vehicle. But I'm old, and those things mattered to real drivers in the 60's. Welcome options in those days were a heater and an AM Radio. - Sandy
I’m not quite sure what you mean about snarky comments. I hope I didn’t come across that way as I didn’t intend to. I was simply asking if you would like for me to make a video tomorrow for you. I would not say the experience was forgettable but considering the fact that I put out two videos every day of the week, it’s not easy to remember every single experience.

And you expected magic from a power-sucking torque converter and planetary 6 speed? It's same with Subaru Crosstrek. I would say a DSG box or Manual would free up some power as would better lubricants and a good break in. But American are MT averse being more interested in their smartphone tweets and farcebook.
I had no problem getting onto a interstate an it was up to 80 an was still going untill I backed off. Granted it wasn’t as fast as my 2013 Escape with the 2.0 turbo version as I have the 2.0 non turbo version, an I can’t help wondering why Ford didn’t put the turbo 2.0 in the ECO SPORT now that would have made it quicker an would have satisfied the low power that some complain about. I have had it for about 3 months now an we’ll satisfied.
Eh I think ford could do better they sure like to overprice their vehicles I like the Nissan kicks a lot more it’s a lot larger cargo wise and passenger and pushes the same amount of HP as a standard eco sport for half the price
There is surprisingly great comfort in the seats and ample room to be found up front. And I am 185cm / 112kg. It would make a good New England Winter Commuter and utility vehicle, especially seeing you can acquire a 2020 AWD with 2 litre engine for around $17K with the many substantial rebates Ford has for everyone before the end of the year. - Sandy

The new Escape SE doesn't cost much more and its bigger and wider.👍
i think people lookin in the subcompact market aren’t looking for a full size suv don’t you think 😂

Way more luxury than the 2017 eco boost mustang that is for sure
Good point!
Humungous rebates on them right now ($6,250 on the Titanium).
Yes, they were priced WAY above market for a Subcompact AWD. You can get an S awd for about $17,000 in December 2020.
Hello! Do you know if the SES model has Android Auto?
Yes, it does.
How does it drive? That is somewhat important :)
I made this video about a year ago so I don't actually remember. Is it okay if I make another video for you tomorrow and publish it tomorrow evening?

Background music is TOO LOUD, it drowns out the commentator.
Does it have a spare tire somewhere?
Unfortunately not.
Does it have auto start
Yes
Ecosport which is in Indian market doesn't even have a cruise control in the top titanium plus model no navigation in the top end
Hello Bro. I'm from India, Living In. We have everything In Indian version EcoSport. It is in Sports Variant. Don't give false Update😎.

Why did they make the tailgate swing out, instead of up?
@Richard Klima I'd like to the tire mount as an option
The tailgate swings out to save the cost of riser pistons
Richard Klima Some models in the US have the spare tire mount. I’ve seen a few of them, and my neighbor has one like that.
Mpg?
27 City / 29 Hwy
I am averaging 33 mpg city driving and 38 on the highway mine is the 1.0 liter with 5000 miles on it.
Got rid of my 2020 se trim and I hated every minute of that car.
I like its small
The 2 liter ecosport has to be floored to hit interstate speeds, so dont expect great mileage
Have you tried shifting into the sport mode just asking
@@richardsnyder3900 hell no I didnt buy the piece of shit. Paint it yellow and it's a tonka
Sport mode, man you are one gullible sucker. Ford is about to be bankrupt after an at least 4 billion settlement. They have already warned investors

Indian ecosport comes at half the price of american ecosport and even looks better. :)
What about?
Why on earth didn't you drive the perishing things???
What does the + - on the gear shift do?
Incase you haven't found out yet, it's to manually change the gears
+ to go up a gear (accelerate) and - to go down a gear (decelerate)
Where is defragment option?

For gringos or tall people are not for this kind of car.

Just rented this. Talk about boring and slow, way overpriced for what it has to offer.
