Thank you so much for the reaction (too bad I couldn't watch it with you all). I didn't expect to cry so much in the last episode, but I did. And I alslo didn't expect that we would see Day getting his eye sight back. I would've been fine without it, too. I'm also usually not a fan of long time jumps, but in this case I guess the two of them had to find their own ways first before being 100 percent comfortable in a relationship with each other. Anyway I loved the ending.
I don't know which series you have in mind to react next, but I will leave a few suggestions: The Sign, Absolute Zero, Laws of Attraction, I feel you linger in the air and like mentioned in the other comment Pit Babe. I don't know which one (if any) would catch your attention or is possible for you to do, but maybe you could consider them?

A few thoughts on this series. If you thought it was "perfect" or nearly so, you may not want to read them. Overall, I enjoyed the series a great deal, I liked the premise and thought Jimmy and Sea did a great job....but...
1. I can't remember which ep. it was where we saw a flashback to the car "accident" that cost Day his sight, but I had a problem with it. It wasn't an "accident" - it was a car crash caused by bad driving. Perfectly normal to not want someone to puke in your car, but a driver's primary concern should always be for the safety of themselves, their passengers, and others on the road. I've been in Day's position where I was driving someone who announced he was about to throw up. I just said "Do what you have to Tony". (He was sick, not drunk and I was taking him to the hospital.) If he had puked in my car, sure it wouldn't have been pleasant but I would have cleaned it up afterwards. These things happen. What really bugs me about this scene in the context of the series is that Day spent...I'm not sure....months? after the car crash making Night feel guilty about it. Glad the two brothers reconciled of course - and beautifully so, but I still think Day should have apologized explicitly for the guilt-trip.
2. I think giving Day back his sight at the end was too much of a "fairy-tale" ending. Life isn't a fairy-tale. No one lives happily ever after. We all have to deal with good times and bad times, and it's the bad times - it's PRECISELY the bad times - that make the good times so precious.
3. Worst of all - Day had worked so hard to achieve independence and happiness during the 3 year time-jump, and DID achieve independence and happiness. Giving him back his sight made it seem like what he had accomplished was just a "halfway" step to happiness. Mostly though, I feel it sent a really bad message to viewers who have to go through life with some disability - suggesting that they can't really be happy unless they regain whatever it is they've lost.
Anyway, I could go on, but will leave it at that.
