Hi Pablo, this is a staged environment for the purpose of an installation video. This would absolutely need to be considered in a 'real' installation environment. Many thanks, P C Henderson
Hi Richard, for the installation video it was screwed into a plasterboard wall. However, in reality a more secure structure should be used for fitting.
P C Henderson Ltd. I see, there are two sets of bolts to fit the rail to the wall, one has some type of metal rawl plug, not used on the video, how do these work?
Hi Richard, you're quite right the wood screws were used in the video because we were screwing into plasterboard into a wooden batton (this is a film studio set). However the rawl plug version should be used when attaching the track to a brick or concrete wall. Full fitting instructions can be found on our website here www.pchenderson.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/440155-Rustic80-LVL6.pdf if you need any further assistance or you can also call us on 0191 3777345
So they just screw the rail anywhere in the wall without considering where the studs are?

Did i hear correcty? " The door height PLUS 40CM" is that supposed to be 40mm?
Hi Stue, you are indeed correct, it is door height plus 40mm, apologies for any confusion. Our fitting instructions do state 40mm.
Find the studs. Mount a solid board to studs. Then, follow markup instructions for the rail.
Is the rail screwed into a brick wall or plaster?

This video should be removed. It is going to lead beginner DIY'ers to putting up very unsecure barn doors. Please do not follow these instructions
