HI Ilya! I was just enjoying this and appreciating the movement of the train. It scales down pretty nicely. I am an industrial designer now but some years ago I spent a couple years doing restoration for the Califrnina State Railroad Museum. We restored a n old Pullman Sleeper car and wanted to create an emmersive exhibit where people could feel what it was like to travel at night. When I watched this I imagined you going through the same thought process we did but for a scalle model version. In the end we used a linear actuator as a large "arm" to grab on and rock the car at intervals to simulate the somewhat rythmic but not prefectly repeated real-life train movements. We gave it a few slightly variating patterns to keep it from being to obvious. Not sure if you rocked the car by hand as you did with the passing light/lantern but it looks and feels like our exhibit. Cheers

Hi Dave! Sounds amazing, I'm imagining spending the whole 24 hours in that Pullman Sleeper, preferably with a bar car connected. Here's behind the scenes of this video :) ua-cam.com/video/diXZxU6IJR8/v-deo.html
