Same, it's a fun song to play on the guitar... Can't go wrong with Carlos!
Once again Finn great job! Had me laughing all day i binged on your videos ! Xox I think Mj was a victim to some bad songs, esp. Towards the end of his career...but he'll always be great and so is Kanye i love him but a lot of his songs can be misses.! I agree with Snopp Dogg's decline as well! Ahaha love u! Keep up the good work! 😘✌️
Awww you're such a good host! Thanks!
Fun fact: the MJ Bad music video was directed by Martin Scorsese.
Also Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol Flows down the Strip was omitted from the US release of In Utero. It was the final track on the Japanese import version. Honestly it should have been a hidden track like Endless Nameless. Personally I hate the songs All Apologies and Pennyroyal Tea and I would have liked for Gallons to be there instead.
I remember buying and reading a spin magazine or two in the 90’s, but can’t remember anything I ever read in one.
"Crush 'Em" was performed during a WCW Nitro broadcast and used as Goldberg's entrance music for a short while.
The riff for vertigo i came up with a few years before the song came out gutted when i heard it as was basically the first riff i ever came up with lol
Feels bad man
There’s really only so many riffs out there to play. A lot of riffs are similar. There are only so many notes and combinations.
I hated when Apple music gave everyone a free UNWANTED U2 album
Nothing ever enrages me more than when that pre loaded u2 shit starts playing randomly on an iPhone. Every time I get a new phone, inevitably that day comes, and I immediately delete with extreme prejudice.
everyone should listen to U2.
songs like 'The Fly' 'Hawkmoon 269' 'The Unforgettable Fire' or 'Stay (Farraway, So Close!) are fucking great.
overhated band.
Hey Finn, I’ve heard you mention atmosphere in some other videos. Do you have a video on atmosphere / alt rap by chance
I don’t but maybe some day!
Chuck Berry being exposed as a creep has helped his featured song become aged like milk.
Finally another person that doesn't like Jay-Z. When people talk about him I feel like I'm being fucked with for some weird musical Truman Show. Squeezebox by The Who is the worst of the Who's weird mini arc of cheesy 70's Americana rock songs like Long Live Rock. They're my favorite band of all time but man those songs are corny.
The Billie Ellish song is only bad by bond song standards imo
Smooth slaps. I don’t care what anyone says lol.
This one for the promo reel: "I respect any artist that deliberately alienates their audience."
I'm always shocked on how bad Dave Mustaine voice is.
His voice worked for their raw and gritty 80's stuff, in the 90's he and his producers went for something more "polished" which makes it even more obvious that he can't sing at all.
Oh my, what an "edgy" list. Lotsa actually great songs, lotsa crap too. You should check out Serge Gainsbourg who was a mad genius over his long spanning career. Super provokative, at all times. And yes, always happy to be kinda ambigious, especially on sexual connotation. No iffy things with his daughter though and he actually made a cringey video to provoke people even more. Crazy dude. He'd have been cancelled in a second these days. See Whitney Houston / Gainsbourg encounter. Ouch ! Dude was usually filled up to this ears.. not an excuse. Really hard to write about him, so many things to say (good and bad). Basically topping the charts while flipping everyone off. RIP Serge. OG Punk before anyone else. You can see some parallels to GG Allin.
Just to set the record str8: Lemon Incest is a pretty horrible song though.
Sometimes I get scared you’ll run out of ideas for content someday, but you just come out with more bangers!
Love this idea and would like to see more volumes, hope you’re doing well Finn 🤝
The chorus of Bad is dope as hell
That Michael Jackson ''BAD'' video IS f****** SICK AF !!
