    The hardest thing in muscle up is the transition. You can do 10 high false grip pull ups and 12-15 very deep dips but cannot do even 1 muscle up. I don’t know what muscles are engaged in the the transition but when I quit doing them for 3-4 months for the1st time it took me about 3 months to restore them and and took me a year when I quit for 2nd time.

      I think it's not about pure strength, but rather technique. I was doing like 3-4 false grip pull ups and maybe 10 dips and still was able to do a muscle up in very first tries

      @@shinran66 can you do slow Eccentric muscle up? I don’t but could when could do 3 muscle ups in a row
