The antminer s9 is hands down the best bitcoin miner for beginner home miners. It is cheap, currently you can get an antminer s9 on ebay for $58! The antminer s9 can also be plugged into a standard home outlet 110v as well as 240v, making it very versatile and perfect for home use. They are also just plain easy to use and care for. You can also add accessories and even upgrade the fans to make it a silent btc miner.
The antminer s9 is no way a profitable crypto miner while the price of bitcoin is sitting around 25k but it is the easiest and the cheapest way to learn how to mine bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I am doing the exacts same thing. I am running 4 S9 miners on low powers mode using Brains OS Solo mining CK pool.
Braiins os is pretty good i used it for a couple of days then switched back to vnish os which seems to get better results on my s9 and has pretty good management of the fans asic boost and so on I have solar panels so I'm only using it when our meter says -2.kwh can be up to 10 hours a day some days I'll use ck pool solo other days I'll use bch solo mining pool much better chance of getting a block but saying that against all odds their is every chance of finding a block of btc with an ant miner s9 I j or k even might be a few years old but its still got decent hashing power compared to using a load of gpus I was gpu mining for a few years on eth but since is changed then I've hardly mined anything I found a block with my rx570 kaspa a few months ago was quite chuffed . So will be selling my older pc which isn't too old ow its set up with Linux running steam os plays anything I throw at it and has the benefit of vulcan drivers for amd on Linux makes the graphics great 👍

If you have free electricity.... get an s9j hooked up on solo mine and play the btc lottery. You might hit a block and get 6.25btc! Chances are slim, but you never know.... many people have done it recently with an s9

my asic status and chips dont show only the fan shows and nothing is accepted only getting discarded piling up. do you know how to fix this problem?
Do a firmware restore back to 2018 firmware? Then re flash to what ever you like

@techhustler small rant … ebay doesnt have ur back everytime … ordered a 5700xt during the BR and i ended up with 2 tracking #s one for fedex and ups … different eta’s … both days came and went nothing arrived but their system said delivered … ebay sided with seller WHO BLOCKED ME RIGHT AWAY … money lost smh 🤦🏼♂️ lesson learned … use credit card for security
