i LOVE seeing rt play artsy games that i wouldn’t have heard of otherwise like this or needy streamer overload. probably my favorite type of content from him because i can access cool new art through the familiar and friendly lens of rt’s commentary
Goddamn, seeing those names on the 'Castle Keep' poster (1:22:34) actually makes me want that as a real movie. Rutger Hauer AND Carl Weathers alongside Anjelica Huston, Jennifer Connelly *AND FRICKIN' **_CHRISTOPHER LEE?!_* EDIT: Adding onto the lawsuit fears, IANAL but I don't think it counts as long as it's made clear that their attribution is fictional. Basically, if Out of the Blue (American Arcadia's devs) said on the box and in their advertising that 'Neil Gaiman wrote the story for our game!' that's a lawsuit waiting to happen, especially if the game is received badly, but attributing a fictional work inside a work of fiction to a real person should be all right. If it weren't, a whole lost of alternate universe authors would be in a world of trouble.

I came to the comments to check, there's some decently big VAs involved I was honestly wondering if they asked or were asked? This game definitely seems to have a message about media companies and media in general, if they did give permission it's a really indirect and interesting way to criticize their bosses and bring whatever concerns into public conversation.

That said, it isn't unrealistic that if a studio really needs a voice done right, or if there's a VA known for doing a Specific Voice™, they'd shell out the resources needed to secure their services.

If it were illegal it wouldn't make sense, two people can have the same name, and being famous doesn't turn you into a copyright name, even because someone else could technically have the same name already, not to mention the fact that famous is subjective. So i don't think there's anyway to make a law against it, unless they actually claim someone did something in real life, such as lying that they worked on the game or something.
Yeah, as long as you aren't specifically showing his physical appearance along with the same name, and claiming it's the real life equivalent, there's zero legal basis there Hell, even if they did, there's always the parody argument that can be made, otherwise shows like South Park would destroyed in court

I just want to pop on to support content creators like RT but its been months and nothing seems to work? Has anyone else experienced this and how can I fix it? I live in Australia so usually watch on UA-cam due to time difference but keen to watch on twitch on the occasional sleepless night. Surprised by how difficult this is and low key don want to spend hours and hours trying to figure out :/

On the Epcot City, it's probably not massively different from what Disney got: Celebration. It's recently come under fire because of DeSantis, but Celebration was a pretty freely ran Disney city.
Interesting thing about the movie might be castle keep is a war movie while neither of them partook in it christopher lee and steven spielberg did another war film called 1941 so maybe a story exists here that i don't exactly wanna deep delve into.
