This was oddly satisfying to watch esp how cupcakes are frosted.
I am a baker and I think this is cool. Machines are precise and accurate when it comes to piping but nothing beats things that are made with love. We're not worried about machines replacing us.
I know everyone is whining about robots making cakes but just support your local bakery instead of shopping at Walmart for sweets okay vote with your dollar 🤟bakers are not sweating over this stuff, I promise you. They know their worth and so does everyone else.

@@bec2284 cheap because they use the cheapest ingredients. Mom and pop bakeries put their time and effort into their cakes. I rather support a local baker than corporate owned Walmart bakery they could give a rats ass if you buy their cake or not.

These robots are responsible for idiots thinking a fully-decorated cake should be $10. Walmart, Publix, and every other big box chain haven't been making most of their baked goods from scratch for decades now. This is just the icing on the worst tasting cake.

People don't seem to understanding the automation has always happened. There is still space for artisanal bakers. They can leave the repetitive cake/cookies to the robot and they can focus on making more unique cakes or design new patterns. It is honestly win-win.

As a baker I think this is great. I plan on giving my employees weekends/days off so this would be a great tool to use if short staffed or just to give people a break. It's nothing wrong with this, it's all about how you use it.
with all the money you saved not buying their labor those should be paid weekends and days off

Don't worry, it wouldn't be replaced because these robots seem for big production. Furthermore, if you notice, they can only do one method of decorating. That's why all cakes look alike because they repeat the same decoration every time. So if you want more kind of decoration with complexity or something unique, you still need to go to human bakeries.
This machines never will be like a baker because something artificial never have a flavor original and make with kind and love.

This would be nice for big companies that make pre made cupcakes and sell them in grocery store. But for birthday cakes, or cupcakes, I still prefer to go to bakery and get a handmade one and support them

Dotty Frott I’ve noticed a trend of employees becoming entitled and losing interest in their work. My coworkers work, but they also chat for long periods of times at times which wastes payroll. They make mistakes with critical processes.
I feel like the machines are taking over the mass production but the art will still stand. These have no personality or style, people are still gonna want those cakes from bakeries.
Not allowing machines just means that we'd be propping up handmade stuff unnecessarily. Machines allow for lower cost manufacturing that benefits all consumers in the long run.

Sim, infelimente as máquinas estão eliminando muitos postos de trabalho, exatamente como aconteceu com o surgimento dos computadores que acabou com muitos tipos de trabalhos. A tecnologia avança e substitui a mão de obra mas não pode roubar o talento, a criatividade e muito menos a sensibilidade das pessoas. Não existe nada que possa substituir o amor de um trabalho bem feito, ou a emoção humana. 🙂

Remember, not everyone is lucky to have customs orders or buy from patisseries, sometimes cakes like this which could be found in costco is more meaningful for a lower income family
