It's funny how many see the murderous mayhem of Khorn to be brutal, or the sometimes slow wasting of Nurgle to be insidious... But no one holds a candle to just how demented and vile the Lord of Change can be to mortals.
Some nice agents of the Inquisition came to visit, and told me they'll be giving me some nice new augments, a total refit! So excited, but before they do the work just wanted to say: Nice job Scholar! This was a great sermon!
It's funny because I only learned the word pelagic a few months ago, when I was learning abiut different varieties of Octopus for an anathropology essay.
The one thing that bugs he about this entire story: “Ugh, it’s such a pain to do maintenance work on the undersides of our floating colonies! All this salt is doing too much damage to our machinery! >:( “ “Let’s submerge our colonies fully underneath this salty ocean! :D “
Now i would pay for a game with such setting featuring ambitious rogue traders looking for the fabled lost STC of Eidothea as their make or break expedition of their career. Or another Inquisitor accompanied with a few grey knights or exorcists, centuries after the first expedition, trying to track down the enigmatic spread of chaos through corrupted water from this world. With as overlord a possessed Juros Valdovas ascended as Daemon Prince of Tzeentch as the recurring looming antagonist then to fight as final boss.

Juros Valdovas - sea master in Lithuanian, nice easter egg for Lithuanians 😁
This is one of the best ones man. Actually really really good.
Love listening to your sermons while slugging away in the sun.
This was an excellent video; maybe one of your best so far. Phenomenally well written.
Awesome headcannon. Very rich with story potential.
Haven’t heard from you for awhile, brother. As soon as I saw the video I know I’m in for a good time downloading for work tomorrow. Hope all is well?
💯🇬🇧❤️
Ah always good to have you back, hopefully this'll be a nice story to listen to. But yeah I'm good, very busy irl at the moment though, so doing these vids is a nice reprieve for me. Hope you're doing well too
@@Scholarsloreretail security. I’m finishing it now with one headphone in. Drown out the little ****** I have to deal with ✌️👍❤️
1:21:31 so worth it. Brilliant video. Crab 99999999999999999🙃
Dude this was an awesome story, very solid and fun to listen to!!! Much praise and thanks
Thank you for the sermon, blessed scholar. Now I may rest soundly before my 16 standard hour shift in the manufactorum. The emperor protects.
@@ernestasjarmak9884 praise be! I've heard strange stories about the new water rations though.
@@MrLaprius those are merely stories to scare children. The adminstratum declared that it is safe for consumption, therefore it is.
Make your stories as long as you like, this was very good and enjoyable.
It's funny how many see the murderous mayhem of Khorn to be brutal, or the sometimes slow wasting of Nurgle to be insidious... But no one holds a candle to just how demented and vile the Lord of Change can be to mortals.
Such an amazing video. Love these longer format. I hope you soon will make a video about Tuskha 😃🤩😃🤩
Thank you! I did actually cover Tuska recently in the "Ork Warbosses" video, I think he's the second or third boss in that vid
I love story time with the Scholar.
Glorius video. Never heard about this planet before.
I never make it halfway through this episode. It makes me fall asleep each and every time. 😂
Well good morning, sir!
And a good morning to you too!
I love the idea of a god of mutation and change it’s epic as hell
this was a blast to listen to, many thanks
“But the daemonic entities of Chaos prove impossible to wrangle into control …”
Iron Warrior Darmonsmiths: “Lol hold my daemon engine.”
A very fishy well done to you, and could you cover Huron Blackheart and/or the astral claws, if you haven't yet?
Best video yet, I actually stopped playing a game to listen because it was that good.
hey this was really excellent, thank you for this!
awesome creepy bedtime stories
Outstanding sir
This was awesome, thanks fella
Love your work bro, thank you and keep up the great content
New favorite by you, love the story telling
All hail Aquaman!....uhh I mean Valdovas! 🧜🏼♂️
Some nice agents of the Inquisition came to visit, and told me they'll be giving me some nice new augments, a total refit! So excited, but before they do the work just wanted to say: Nice job Scholar! This was a great sermon!
Hmmm, the inquisitors would probably like a word with you for supporting that questionable heretic!

Excellent story. Many thanks.
Pelagic.
Was tempted to throw an abyssopelagic in a couple times, but pelagic had to do
It's funny because I only learned the word pelagic a few months ago, when I was learning abiut different varieties of Octopus for an anathropology essay.
This was extremely well done thanks
I would seriously love to see a subnautica / 40k crossover set in this storyline. Can you imagine how spooky and intriguing it would be!?
The one thing that bugs he about this entire story:
“Ugh, it’s such a pain to do maintenance work on the undersides of our floating colonies! All this salt is doing too much damage to our machinery! >:( “
“Let’s submerge our colonies fully underneath this salty ocean! :D “
True 😅 ocean winds are already corrosive and erode everything synthetic but submerge sth into said medium and it becomes like an acid
D.A.Tech and Bullshit hacks😂
Very lore accurate for a fan story.
AWESOME story! *cracks open a bottle of Delicious Eidothean Aqua - Totally Healthy!*
This was excellent.
Looove the artwork in these vids
Finally listened to the whole thing and I'm so glad I did!
Only question I have is: what did the Alpha Legion do down there?
I love these long videos
Now i would pay for a game with such setting featuring ambitious rogue traders looking for the fabled lost STC of Eidothea as their make or break expedition of their career.
Or another Inquisitor accompanied with a few grey knights or exorcists, centuries after the first expedition, trying to track down the enigmatic spread of chaos through corrupted water from this world.
With as overlord a possessed Juros Valdovas ascended as Daemon Prince of Tzeentch as the recurring looming antagonist then to fight as final boss.
Fantastic video
Excellent, thank you
Wow...excellently told! 😮
This...this is beautiful. 👌
I prefer stories, even though I watch and enjoy them, if I see another video explaining the Ultramarines, or Custodes, I'll lose my mind. 😂
Thank you very much! I will do some more marine lore at some point, in fact I was doing a Tyranid vid for next week, and I was referencing the Ultramarines so much that its made me think of doing a full vid for them
@Scholarslore don't get me wrong I still like them bit this video type is very refreshing. Thanks for responding.
Crushed by Choas or crushed by the Imperium? Either way they were doomed.
Even though it was the decreed procreation event mandated by the planetary government, I said "do not approach me with your womanly ways by The Emperor! Can't you hear The Scholar is broadcasting?!"
And your hand just left?
@@Overanalyse_Thisright! The Emperor protects!
I need to somehow convince the various world governments to dedicate some time every monday for people to watch the lore, its very important stuff!
@@Scholarslore perhaps a meeting with one of the more influential members of the Adeptus Mechanicus, Terran Lords or even the Inquisitorial Corps might get your sermons broadcast on the Universalis galaxy-wide vox broadcast service! You'd be joining luminaries like Vreet K'nogan with their show "Whoops that's my Emperor" and Konig Oxslaat with "Battle Sisters are Doing It For The Throne"!
A feature length video to watch while i make bread?! Ah hell yeah
With this, you've demonstrated GW writing is obsolete - this is, by far, the best lore I've heard from 40k except it reverts back to a giant bird, and blue and pink horrors...what you're writing about is soo much more entertaining, really pickles my love of cosmic horror
Thank you for this sermon
what a GREAT story!
@7:50 - so this would suggest that Tzeench had a presence on the planet prior to the DAoT, interesting
Blessed is our dearest scholar 🦅💀🙏
It's the OG AI of 40K!
Nothing but abominable intelligences in our neighbourhood
Ah finally an AI that actually knows how to spell neighbourhood 😉!
What great background music ^_^
