This comment brought me to tears. My grandma too.
Back in 2016 when I was learning to drive my mom and I would drive all around Downtown and Midtown Memphis on the weekend nights. One night we did this after I got my license and this song came on the radio. All the traffic just disappeared, we drove with the windows down waving to the people outside the various bars and restaurants that were around and it was probably the best 3 minutes of driving I've ever had. It's such an odd thing but it's one of those moments I'll never forget, and will always remind me of how much I loved her.
She is Home with GOD ! Bless you .
Such a simple story but a GREAT one at the same time!!! My mom gave me driving lessons also....but not Elvis...Sinatra....god bless...

The sheer amount of impact Elvis Presley did on popular culture unspeakable. He was so ahead of his time, without a doubt the best entertainer of the 20th century
And he’s still amazing in 2024 :)
Nahh its james brown , Michael jackson
@@Robio_scorpio ever since I was a kid, MJ was, and still is my favorite musical artist; it’s not even close. But there’s no denying Elvis changed the world more than MJ or Brown did.
Elvis was famous for his wide range of genres, as he made music in different genres. The music of Elvis Presley was popular among all ages, all races, all ethnicities, and all classes. Such a wide appeal was quite rare at the time (for example, prior to Elvis, it was very rare for black DJs to play white music).
But at the same time, Elvis’s impact isn’t just through his music, but also through the movies he participated in.
There’s a reason why Elvis is the best-selling solo musical artist of all time. Did you know that John Lennon’s inspiration to become a musician was Elvis?
@@Howlingburd19 he is a great artiste I am not disputing that I love his music in terms of entertainment stagemanship James brown Michael Jackson even freddie mercury were just ahead on another level tbh

jmiller05 And he died on the shitter...
Elvis - his name is an anagram of Levis - which is an abbreviation of Leviticus Old Testament book - and its Latin name is based on the term torat kohanim, "instruction of (or ′for′) the priests" from early rabbinic times. - (Jewish instruction is in Leviticus)[1]. Odd that Levis jeans was a creation of a Jewish person - AND Ēl (or 'Il, written aleph-lamed, Hebrew: אל, Syriac: ܐܠ, Arabic: إل or إله, cognate to Akkadian: ilu) is a Northwest Semitic word meaning "god" or "deity" - and lastly King of Rock - Rock [N] (Heb. tsur), employed as a symbol of God in the Old Testament. And none compare to his love songs - 1 John 4:8. I remember the day he died.

@@peterlupo357 oh for sure. That whole piece is a masterpiece
Simple but really effective combination of guitar, piano and drums. Elvis always had amazing backing bands.
Music is The Closest Thing We have to a time machine.

Who's here in 2020? I'm posting this on January 8, what would've been the King's 85th birthday.
Jan 11,2020
Me too! I'm a huge Elvis fan!😍😍😍❤❤❤
Jan 20th 2020.......Joe D....
Is that your birthday? If so, hope it's happy and safe :)
It would also be his brother's Birthday
There's no doubt at all Elvis is the king of rock and roll.
And one of the kings of music
THE KING! 🔥
Whoever sings the "Haaa" after Elvis says "I'm just a hunk of burning love" absolutely makes the song amazing!
Both Elvis and his tenor singer Bill Baize hit that note, playing off each other.
Lilo and Stitch:
“Ohana means family”
Zombieland:
“Where’s home? It’s them. My family is my home”

Lord almighty
I feel my temperature rising
Higher higher
It's burning through to my soul
Girl, girl, girl
You gonna set me on fire
My brain is flaming
I don't know which way to go
Your kisses lift me higher
Like the sweet song of a choir
You light my morning sky
With burning love
Ooh, ooh, ooh,
I feel my temperature rising
Help me, I'm flaming
I must be a hundred and nine
Burning, burning, burning
And nothing can cool me
I just might turn into smoke
But I feel fine
'Cause your kisses lift me higher
Like a sweet song of a choir
And you light my morning sky
With burning love
It's coming closer
The flames are now licking my body
Won't you help me
I feel like I'm slipping away
It's hard to breath
My chest is a heaving
Lord have mercy
I'm burning a hole where I lay
Your kisses lift me higher
Like the sweet song of a choir
You light my morning sky
With burning love
With burning love
I'm just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
A hunk, a hunk of burning love
A hunk, a hunk of burning love
A hunk, a hunk of burning love
A hunk, a hunk of burning love
A hunk, a hunk of burning love
Stitch approved
Your gonna set me on fire lol.
I grew up obsessed with this song because we had so many disney movies and Lilo & Stitch made me have this song on repeat. Now I just come back to this song when I want to uplift my mood
