@@PhakeNamYes, they proved it was too degrading to drunk drivers. The drunk driver in the PSA was actually a real county sheriff in the state of Michigan and the people in the video are his real family. I remember watching it all the time on WSBT in South Bend late Saturday nights during TV shows like American Gladiators and WWF Wrestling Challenge. Amazing that it still resonates aThey same today as it did nearly 40 years ago.

Bull crap I lived in Michigan from 2008 to 2009 I had many friends get busted for dunk driving it was only a 500 ticket no license revoke and they towed the car

This was the 80s, a new law, they probably took it much more seriously back in the day and laws can easily change or be altered in 20 years
