I love your channel, I have started crocheting again, its been over 35yrs since I picked up a hook. My mom taught me and it was such a wonderful time. Your tutorials have taught me so much, I have made a few of your baby blankets for great niece. Now I am working on the Peppermint Stripe for Christmas. You are amazing at teaching and explaining the stitches, Thank you very much. Love seeing you and Cody together. He is a wonderful grandson. I watch your show from a country town in Ontario. Hi Cody and Glenda! Thank you so much for all of your wonderful videos. I have macular degeneration but I've been crocheting for over 60 years, I'm 80. So I can almost crochet anything you've got as long as I can see somewhat and listen. You guys are quite a good team I watch you everyday.

Hello Glenda and Cody. Thank you for mentioning this. I’m not too new to crocheting, however, some instructions can make you say” forget about this”. I love the way you take your time to explain the stitches you do. I also like following the videos of projects because you can pause or rewind. I have completed a few projects this way.

I used the blocking board for my granny square afghan. Mine is bamboo and the water was not a problem.

I got the blocks on Amazon. I’ve used them and they wet block if the item is not dripping wet. There are different blocks for different blocking.😊

QUESTION: I’m a beginner crochet-er. I want to make the Lovey Dovey blanket for my niece. Would you suggest I make it with Lion Brand ombré yarn? (Because it’s a 4 medium weight instead of a 3).
If so, would the pattern size change at all? Would I need more yarn?
