Both Versions are good at different angles..... But... I like the Version of Kishore Da due to the feel of Pain ....
Though Kishore Kumar started his singing quite early, he was not taken seriously by film makers. Since he was also doing movies as an Actor and his many movies were doing well, he himself was also not so serious about making singing as his career. Had he chosen his career as singer in the beginning, we would have more immortal songs in his voice today.
Though he sang less songs, it is the undeniable fact that no one can match his voice quality.

Not only this one, the Kishore version was always better if there are two versions. Mere Naina Saawan Bhadon, Ulfat Mein Zamane Ki, Zindagi Pyar Ka Geet Hai, Samjhauta Ghamon Se Kar Lo, Agar Tum Na Hote, Ajnabi Tum Jane Pehchane Se Lagte Ho, Kitne Bhi Tu Karle Sitam (Asha), Main Tujhse Pyar Karun (Anuradha), Neele Neele Ambar Par (Sadhna), there are many more examples.
I love Kishore da but.this song suits more the voice of Shabbir ji ,the modulation in his voice and high pitch no doubt my préférence goes to Shabbir ji.
